A streamlined, powerful (and 100% free) life counter for MTG! Supports up to 6 players and MTG art as backgrounds, and tracks commander damage, infect, monarch, and more! Lifetap is a clean, simple, and free life tracker for your games of Magic: The Gathering. It loads lightning fast, allows for massive 6 player games of EDH / Commander or Three-Headed Giant, and even supports Planechase & Archenemy. Main features: - Supports 2 to 6 players, AND includes a One-player mode that still tracks incoming commander damage and counters (Infect, Experience, etc) - Player customization: set your player background to the art of one of Magic: The Gathering's more than 20,000 cards! Or two: partners (and backgrounds) are supported! - Player profiles: each profile with a customized name is automatically saved along with their card art and/or color customization, letting you load your profile in a couple taps - Planechase support: spice things up with a full suite of Planechase cards within the app - Archenemy support: also allows for gameplay with the full set of Archenemy Schemes - Tracks commander damage (partner commander damage included) in a unique, intuitive way! - Also tracks Infect, Treasure tokens, Experience counters, Commander tax, Monarchy, Initiative, Energy, Day/Night, and City's Blessing - Quickly reset games to starting life of 20, 25, 30, or 40. The best life tracking app

This is it—the best MTG life tracker on the app store.It's more responsive and looks more polished than the built in tracker for the official Companion app. There's also the option to set custom art for backgrounds. Aside from these superficial aspects, it has a ton of great functionality. You can set game/turn timers, track all the random counters that are related to your boardstate (e.g. city's blessing, infect, commander damage), can track floating mana/storm count, and can allow you to do planechase/archenemy. The only downside is that sometimes life totals will continuously decrease when you swipe down for notifications, but you can simply add it back since the amount of life gained/lost will persist for a decent amount of time.

It is exactly what it claims to be, and doesn’t strive for anything further. You can make custom profiles for each of your players/decks, you can use card art or color gradients as your backgrounds, and the counter even includes additional details like commander damage, schemes, and additional gameplay enhancements, all without losing sight of the main reason people found this app: it has a very easy-to-use life counter system.With so many apps claiming to be one thing and then turning a complete 180 upon install or having many of its features locked behind a paywall, it is truly refreshing to have a genuinely good app with no ads, payments, or farces.

LifeTap is insanely good! Been using it with the guys and we’re just downright amazed at the quality and effort put into this app! Highly recommend this to anyone who plays edh as it also gives access to planechase, has a mana counter for those big splashy turns and has multiple dice roll options for anything you might need! Only recommendation i can give is maybe have a planechase button to see the top X and rearrange them as you see fit as happens with some of the planes that either send them to the bottom or rearrange them. But again this app has so mucj going for it that i honestly don’t have anything negative to say. Great app!

Great mtg counter (consider changing)

Could you make the app sideways rather than standing upright. When I tried to mirror the app to my tv. It mirrors standing rather than on its side. Like on the device it’s fine you turn the screen but I can’t really turn my tv the same way 😅 Not sure how hard it would be but I wonder if you kept everything the same and just moved the slide up to mini the app to switch apps to the bottom it it would fix this issue. I will say not a single magic app is sideways. They all stand up right and currently your my favorite so I’d love if you guys changed this. I’d even pay for this upgrade…
