Worst flight booking/managing flight app

If zero stars is available I would rate this zero. This app is unreliable, absolutely trash! You can’t see the seats once you’ve paid. And when you do the UI sucked. If you paid already for that seat it gives you a new charge to move so then you have to call! When you call to ask why its showinh pending charges, they’d say to ignore it since I already have purchased Pal travel boost and everything is ok on their end, pending charges don’t go away.Some of the parts of this app still has the place holder/template. It’s very outdated and absolutely unsecured too. Their mabuhay miles password login requires only 8 characters only, talk about cyber security which definitely is not on their radar. This app needs a major update to give your cx better experience.Also, to whom it may concern, on the check in counter, your employees approached me to pay them under the table when I requested to move to a different seat (cash), note I already paid travel boost so I should be able to move. I’m not going to name names but having employees scamming their PAL cx is ridiculous and just unethical

I have a flight in December and wanted to register as a “Mabuhay Miles” member just in case it could help make things easier (as well as for future travels). However, funnily enough, something as simple as signing up has made the process of preparing for a flight a lot more difficult than it is. I went to the website to enrol myself but was met with a page that told me to download the PhilippineAirlines app; seeing no other links or forms, I go to install said application. Incorrect DOB when I put in the right one, city of residence missing from the list, every password I attempt to make is invalid, and it responds so slow that I have to close-open the app as it’s the only way it loads quicker. It’s a hassle. Absolutely have no problems downloading an app, but if it’s what’s required to sign up and doesn’t even let you make your password, then until this problem is fixed, I think it should be an option for people to use the website instead of only having the app.

This app is so useless. I bought my flight tickets in June through the website. Since my trip is coming up, I decided to download the app. First, I tried to set up an account and it would not let me get passed the set up password and it kept saying it was invalid. I read the bad reviews and saw that people had the same issues. The person responding to the bad reviews listed parameters to set up a valid password and I followed them. And still the App kept saying password is invalid. I gave up after 30 min. So, I just decided to look for my flight info. Another failure. It could not find my flight. This will be the only and last time I am going to use Philippine Airline. If their app does not even work to check in your flight or just a basic flight information, what other problem will arise flying with them. Wish me luck!

This app is so useless. I bought my flight tickets in June through the website. Frustrating App - No Improvements

Just like everyone else's gripes on here, I'm another user with the most recent review on how poorly executed this app is. It seems like every time someone writes a review, they respond but nothing changes. Also should have better options for contacting customer support instead of having to reach out on Facebook or X. Not all users have social media so we shouldn't have to create an account just to request assistance. I've been trying to create an account and continue to keep running into issues and errors that my password fields are not complete. They are indeed compete, with 8+ characters, one lowercase, one uppercase and a special character. After trying for 2 weeks, I give up. Disappointing I'll have to lose these miles due to registration issues.Developers, do better.
