Unresponsive at best.

It’s functional, barely. But I’m rating it poorly because this is the least responsive, laggiest app I’ve ever had the displeasure of using. Simple thermostat commands can take almost 30 seconds to process. It’s egregious.

Why Ruin Something Good

To start off short and simple this app is a GUI nightmare. The lack of character and unnecessary login screens makes this app extremely frustrating to the user. The dev team needs to be fired for coming up with these ideas. Why should I need to use a Bluetooth lock. It’s so insanely slow and sometimes when I’m in a rush the lock needs to “update”. Along with the countless times I’ve been logged out of my app and not being able to sign back in was ridiculous. The only semi good thing about this app is the thermostat but if you’re really that lazy to where you can’t go up and walk to whoever your thermostat is you have bigger problems. Whoever’s behind this app seriously needs to rethink a new career path.

super easy & convenient

my apartment complex uses smart locks/thermostats and has us use Quext to operate them. the user interface is so easy to figure out, its intuitive from the moment you open the app. i love that if i dont have my keys, i can still get in my apartment, and i love that i can adjust the temperature of my home from bed (especially on those cold winter mornings). i adore this app & the team behind it is super kind and responsive.

Inconvenient and inefficient

I hate this lock
This smart locking system is so inefficient. I do not understand the point of anyone installing them. I could open my door faster with my physical key. The app takes so long to launch, access through Face ID or pin, then you still have to hold it to the lock and turn the knob. Same is true for locking the door behind you. It takes 3x as long as it used to, and is really frustrating when leaving in a hurry. Completely pointless and just so inconvenient.

We fixed several issues, improved performance, and continue to closely monitor quality to ensure a reliable experience.
