I get the app and pay my bill right, so I end up two months behind and I finally log in to the app to put a lil some on the light bill. So I log in and I’m expecting “””notices my power will be cut off”””” or something. No actually it’s a notification after I see the amount that I owe (fair amount) … a sweepstakes to win Houston Texans nfl gear click yes to enter the contest…. lol talk about the best energy provider the world has ever had. I’ll pay the rest of the bill I got y’all!

This app has been changed and changed and changed and thru all these changes they have managed to make it a cluster. One: allow the customer the choice of background- some of us have difficulty with a dark background. Two: + and < why wouldn’t it be > or <? Or hey how about using the words “more”or “less” , like the app was-before you screwed it up. Three: daily usage information is five (5) days out- it WAS two (2) days before you screwed the app up. Four: it took a week for these screwed up changes to take - so instead of being ready to change it over you took it off line completely while you figured out how to screw it up. Put it back on (finally )but five (5) days - so on February 6 you could see your usage for February 1. And the daily usage was even slower to get it back on screen. I don’t leave the app loaded on my screen - I delete it and when I want to check I reload it. Why? Because the app is so far behind it does no good to try to track your usage when the days are long past. The daily / hourly comes in handy to monitor if you have an appliance that is guzzling electricity but not when you can’t see it but every five days or longer- degrees of difference? You could sure get that message on time. How am I to know if I made a difference if I can’t see it for another five (5) days… ask me to lower my thermostat- I’ll do that as efficiently as you screwed this app up. Better hire someone who knows what they are doing. And when you treat a customer like they are stupid it reflects…I dread another update to this app. Because it only gets worse…

I tried to get new service for my new home on October 20th and I chose reliant . My Social security card and drivers license was taken. I was then told I had to pay a $80 deposit . I paid the $80 deposit and then was told that I could not get service because I didn’t have a Texas state I.D . ( it was an Arkansas I.D ) . I cancelled the quote and they told me my $80 will be refunded on my card . I spoke with someone different and they told me by check . I was told I would receive the check 10 days from September 20th which is the day I cancelled and refund was approved !!!! A couple weeks went by and I called to find out what was going on with my check . I was told on October 8th that the check was generated on September 27th . 7 days after I canceled. The rude woman I spoke with on October 8th told me that I should wait two more days and that would make the 10 day mark . I waited a couple days , checked my mailbox on october 11th , not to my surprise, NO CHECK !!!!!!!!!!! I called back and spoke with a man that told me that the female agent from October 8th told me some wrong information because the check was actually generated a day after I spoke with her ( October 9th ) and that I have to wait A FEW MORE DAYS !!!! How ridiculous is this company . Quick to take someone’s money and so SLOW to give it back and to give it back by MAILING it at that ! I will never try to sign up with this electricity provider ever again ! BEWARE !

While this application is great to review your energy usage and pay your bill, I find that there are a lot of bugs using this application on the iPhone operating system. Almost every time I open up the app and login, I get an error message saying the site is down for maintenance when they are not. I am forced to completely close down the app and from running in the background well attempting to open it and login once more before it will actually let me into the site to review any information. I have noticed that I receive constant notifications once logged in informing me that my last months energy usage was higher than the previous months when this is not accurate and every time I ignore or close the message it always returns.
