Works fine, though there needs a picture-in-picture option or a way to stream on the computer like other providers. I mainly watch on my iPad while doing other things while away from home so I can’t really use this unless I want to just sit down and watch tv..

On their website astound/RCN states…… Astound - your TV, your way. This is a lie started by RCN and continued by astound.Why is it a lie.If it really was “my TV, my way”, I would be able to watch/stream astound TV on my PC or Mac computer connected to a large screen monitor.If it was really “my TV, my way” , I be able to stream with the Astound TV app to my little tiny iPhone and cast or airplay it to my large screen TV.Why would I wanna do the 2 things mentioned above?Simple, I don’t wanna have to rent more than one box from Astound to watch TV in more than room in my house.The big advantage of Astound IPTV (streaming) vs old technology (cable boxes) is the the ability to do the 2 things mentioned above without renting a set top box in every room.So, if you are like me and expected this App to do as they claim on their web site…..Don’t waste your time downloading this app.However if you would enjoy catching up on your tv shows at your kids soccer game on your little iPhone that you can’t see the screen cause it’s to bright outside, have at it.I’m sure the kids will really appreciate you ignoring their soccer game while you struggle to watch TV on your iPhone.

Terrible update!!

Not sure exactly when the app was updated, but the latest version is terrible. Not intuitive, not easy to use. The autoplay of videos (the stations) is distracting and not helpful. Users should be able to turn off that feature, but I saw nothing in the settings that would allow me to do that. It’s hard to find a description of the show to choose when the video is playing. Also, it does not allow you to easily glance at the lineup for a particular station for the day —very cumbersome the way it’s set up. I used to think the app was fabulous but not anymore.
