Poor Quality/Does Not Work Well

I was hoping for better with this application. You cannot view invoices as stated in the product summary, you cannot do much of anything really. Hopefully RealPage revamps the app itself so users are able to perform tasks as advertised. As a SuperUser/Administrator of the platform, I am very familiar with the way the system should work, so I was disappointed after using the app. I’d be happy to update my review once product updates are made, but until that time this unfortunately is my honest feedback.

I was hoping for better with this application. You cannot view invoices as stated in the product summary, you cannot do much of anything really. Unfortunately as with most things RealPage, their app development is not high on their priority list and results in lackluster experiences. Searching for invoices to approve is impossible because you need to scroll through millions of invoices. Once you hit the bottom of the list and it needs to load more you are sent back to the top to start doomscrolling again. The search feature by vendor is terrible because it only works if you capitalize and punctuate correctly. You just enter “W.B. Mason” instead of just “mason” or “S.A. Comunale” instead of just “comunale” in order to locate the invoice. You cannot search by property/location so I end up seeing dozens of invoices trying to find the one invoice I need to approve. Do better RealPage! You charge too much to offer such low-grade quality tools. It’s 2023.

Logging in is painful

The password page of the login process does not allow either one of my password managers to populate the field. The convenience of having the ability to approve invoices through the app is outweighed by the frustration of the login process. I don’t get that many invoices to approve. But if I did, I would scrap the app and wait until I had access to a computer.

There’s no way no edit a G/L code or anything on an invoice or a purchase order, and you can’t match a PO to the invoice - all you can do is approve, decline, and add an optional note. It shows an option to check budget but even that doesn’t load. It’s nice to be able to approve a PO or invoice when not by a computer since the website frames make navigating on the phone impossible, but this is the absolute bare minimum of functionality.
