I have been interested in my health for years now. I have read many books about how important maintaining a low glucose level is and applied the tips and tricks to my daily life. But when I started using the cgm with aspect it was truly amazing to see the affect that food has on our bodies. That’s real time data!!! With the help of my health coach we have been able to tweak my habits to help get my levels within a better range on a daily basis.

Paid for a 1 month subscription and 1 CGM- since it is not included with the subscription. Paid for the app, fine, but did not receive my glucose monitor until half of way through the trial after back and forth with customer service. Get the CGM and it’s faulty after a few hours. Reach out to customer service again and receive a replacement with no issue… HOWEVER at this point my month is almost up, so I’m like okay let me go an extend my subscription- before I could even do that I was completely shut out of the app with no access to anything and no way to utilize my CGM. I reach out to customer support AGAIN and got the run around. Due to that I decided to just download another glucose monitoring app that was free so that I didn’t waste the CGM or my money, and just be done with Aspect. BUT NO they continued to charge my card for a glucose monitor when I was not even subscribed. Which then it made since why the app would not let me use Apple Pay or another payment method. They want your CC info so they can falsely charge you for things! Do yourself a favor and find a different company.

Aspect health is the definition of dark UX. I signed up for a 3 month subscription and only after signing up for that description did it become clear that price was only for the app and not for the glucose monitor. Glucose monitors were then another $119/month on top of the $60 I spent on the app description. Dissatisfied that I wouldn’t really be able to use this app without a glucose monitor and without the budget to purchase one, I tried to look into cancelling. There’s no easy “cancel my subscription button” and I come to find out after chatting that if I were to quit now i’d be charged $279?! They say this is for upfront costs but what cost is that? I’ve gotten 3 messages from a coach all saying about the same thing and everything else i’ve done on my own. This is absolutely ridiculous and honestly taking advantage of people trying to better their health with a budget in mind.

I really loved how the combination of CGM and wearable data, analytics and health coaching helped me finally transform my habits! I tried various apps and devices before, but lack of accountability and knowledge to derive insights hindered my progress towards being a healthy, fit and vital woman🤦🏼‍♀️ Since I discovered Aspect, there is no turning back! With the help of CGM analytics and coach I got rid of foods that made me sluggish and added cm to my waist. My cycle got predictable like a clock, I feel energized and empowered! The app and overall service are great too. Some minor glitches a couple times, but it’s totally worth sticking to it. My coach was super-nice and knowledgeable. Kudos to Aspect! 🙏💜
