Best thing I’ve used for reddit on mobile

Overall very good! Especially since reddit stoped 3rd party apps, this is the best alternative. My only hang-up is that loading any new reddit page hangs for a few seconds every time (counted ~5 seconds on my iphone 13 pro). I would love to know the reason and what can be done about it. This has always been the case for me for the year+ I’ve used this extension. I even tried disabling all other extensions to make sure.I would also like to make a feature request to add a “show images” button like what RES has which would automatically expand all the posts on the page.

Hi EsquackThanks for the feedback.1 - Seems like a bug. Can you provide little more details? OS version and steps to reproduce would be useful. Also a screen recording if possible.2 - This feature already exists. Search for "Auto expand Image Posts" in settings. And if you set it to "Only in select subreddits" there would be a toggle in the subreddit sidebar.

Replacement for Apollo

I am using this extension as a replacement for Apollo and it is working well. It is not a perfect solution but it gets the job done. I just bookmark r/all and put it on my Home Screen to use. It removes all the annoying pop-ups that the mobile web version of Reddit shows. It hides some extra section of the website to make the website more readable on a phone. It adds dark mode. It also remove those fake Reddit post that’s actually ads. I encountered a bug and contacted the developer with the feedback email and got a response right away. This app is worth it and doesn’t cost much for the convenience

I’ve been using the web version of Reddit ever since the app fiasco, but it’s been a pain having to switch to old Reddit manually when a web search takes me there. I found this while looking for something like old Reddit redirect for mobile. Was initially disappointed to have to pay for something so simple, but once I gave in and did I realized that this is so so so much more than just a redirect, making the mobile experience significantly better by rearranging and resizing elements to actually be usable!! This makes the website what it should have been all along!!

Was using privacy redirect and kept getting “old hat” image issues. Instead of spending time trying to fix it (and likely not getting it knowing me), I spent $3 for this upgrade. Better than expected due to the built in quality of life improvements: zoomed in at the perfect level, skip and forward options, ad removal. Simpler and better than having a dedicated Reddit app for a casual user like myself. Would certainly recommend if you’re looking to use old Reddit through Safari.
