HWPO Training encompasses fitness programs created for a community of HARD WORKERS, inspired by 5x CrossFit Games Champion, Mat Fraser’s motto “Hard Work Pays Off”.
The HWPO Training app offers a variety of programs to suit different lifestyles, goals, equipment accessibility, and skill levels. Whether you need to be in and out of the gym in 45 minutes or you’re training to be an elite-level competitor, HWPO Training has a workout program for you.
Athletes can track their progress using personalized sessions based on individual performance metrics and celebrate their achievements on the real-time leaderboard. The app also provides coaching videos by Mat Fraser himself, as well as our team of world-class expert coaches, guiding members through every training session and providing demos of each exercise.
Our HARD WORKERS also gain access to our members-only support platform, where they can ask questions, receive feedback, watch exclusive content and engage with others in the community around the world. No matter how or where you move, all we ask is that you live out our core values in and out of the gym:
SHOW UP. Do today what others won’t so tomorrow you can do what others can’t.
WORK HARD. Define success for yourself and be relentless in your pursuit of it; it’s about the process.
MAKE YOURSELF PROUD. Do things with intention and set an example of HARD WORK for those around you.
I love this program. I am not a competitor in CrossFit, I just enjoy doing CrossFit in my garage. This program is a complete program. The progression has been amazing and it is doing the job making me improve in every aspect. The app is really good. I love having the percentages listed for me each day so that I don’t have to do it. I really love the daily workout videos they are extremely helpful. The movement videos included with each piece of the workout are really good. They are better than any I’ve ever seen. I am happy with the app switch from hybrid app to only HWPO. I also like the optional posting of your scores. I am looking forward to the fix with the workout days matching the day you are on. It is time consuming right now to figure out where my next workout is. If your looking for an all inclusive program, this is the one for you.
Unbeatable programming and app that needs a bit more polishing

I can tell as a coach that there’s been a lot of thought put into every detail of the programming. I’m on flagship on day 10 right now and love the base building that it’s doing so far (giving me some time to work on my lacking skillset like handstand walks and double unders)I did jump on during the initial hybrid launch and I do have to agree it was easier when the days rolled based on what day of the program you’re on instead of the calendar based. Also some of the usual workout notes and tips with the alternate equipment suggestions aren’t there so it’s understandable that a lot of people might be clueless with how to proceed, especially the new ones since there aren’t much discussion about the earlier days in circle. All in all I’m here for the long ride with Matt and his team as I know they put in a lot of hard work and love to give us the best programming ever, and will listen to our concerns and feedback. Just gotta have the patience as the only way they can go is up with their execution.
Top 3 Apps I pay for

quick backdrop - 46 years old, did CF at a gym from 35-40, moved to VT worked out in home gym and over 5 years maintained and slowly lost strength and fitness. Friend who has tried them all and is a CF nut told me this is the best and most thoughtful one out there. Originally i thought why spend $ on workouts I can make up myself - WRONG - the better question was why waist 20 mins every gym session making up something when for 1.5 dollars a day it is professionally planned. No %£@% i am 2 months in and putting up lifetime PR's in everything. The HwPO 60 is no joke - I did get run down week 4 and got a cold, it wore me out. My wife now does Sweat and absolutely loves it. I am 3 months in and am a fan. The only other app I tell people about that is also worth the $ is "brian Johnsons" optimize app -- thanks mat, sammy
Program is great, app needs work

The very first fitness app I ever used was the SWEAT app by Kayla Itsines. I got it at its inception and have used it for over 5 years. It is hands down the best, most user-friendly fitness app I’ve ever used (and I’ve tried many). All that to say the bar was set high with the SWEAT app. Although the HWPO training program is great and the quality of the workouts/programming is excellent, the app is not very user-friendly and aesthetically has a lot to improve on. I wish all fitness apps were setup like the SWEAT app. It lays everything out for you then you hit start and it has the sets/reps shown along with the instructional video. Then you push an arrow to move to the next set or movement. The HWPO app just shows the workout in a straight list, in very tiny font. It’s not broken down individually for you which is what I would prefer. For example, under a BIG PUMP section there are 4 different sections with the exercises or superset movement/s, reps, RPE, and then Notes below it. The exercises are not in bold or numbered so you just see a bunch of little paragraphs in tiny font. There are a lot of simple changes that would make the app flow better and be more user-friendly. Great programming, app needs some work.
Thanks for SHOWING UP to become a HARD WORKER.
