SMARTSTEP features for healthcare professionals are considered an accessory to compatible Blatchford medical devices for orthotics and prosthetics. These devices can only be prescribed by and sold to authorised healthcare professionals, in territories whereby appropriate regulatory clearance has been given. Healthcare professionals are required to undergo a Blatchford approved, certified training course before being authorised to access the required features within SMARTSTEP. Without a Blatchford-approved certification, access to SMARTSTEP features will be restricted.
