This app has so much potential but it’s unreliable. The videos work great for us. However, the audio stops every time my phone goes to its lock screen. This makes it hard to walk away from my daughter and let her have a few minutes of independence. (Also have you get children who I’m attending to) Every few seconds I have to unlock it and some times it’s mid sentence and there is no way to rewind 15 seconds just to get the full sentence at once. It ends up being extremely frustrating and definitely changes the vibe of our homeschool atmosphere. I have emailed the company about this. Not sure if they care or not. Please at least make these audio narrations available on the computer so we can listen to them without several interruptions.

Update: The issue resolved and I have been able to use the app again. I do appreciate the tremendous value and quality of this curriculum. We recently loved the Haddie’s Hidden Garden audiobook story in the 1st grade language arts.Original review: I’ve been using this app for a couple years and now it won’t work anymore because it is forcing me to login and then I try to and it won’t let me. Not that it rejects my password or gives an error, it just refuses to load after putting in all the sign up info. Also, why is my phone number required? I don’t like that at all. Seems very unnecessary. Now I’m stuck not being able to follow through with our school plan.

I love this app. I gave it 3 stars because when I installed it on my daughter’s chromebook the format was difficult to maneuver. You can’t access the video lessons through the app on a chromebook. If it be possible it would be nice to have an app or be able to on this app watch video lessons on a laptop or chromebook. It’s easier for kids to click on an app to watch all content then to go through a website especially when the website is all inclusive with shopping options etc. It would be nice to have an app specifically for the kids to use themselves for school. I am currently using this curriculum for my preschool and homeschooling a 6th, 3rd and 4th grader. Thanks so much and can’t wait to see what developers come up with.

This used to be the greatest app for using The Good and the Beautiful curriculum. But within the last week or so, the app stopped loading videos. It simply spins and spins but never loads and never starts. I wanted to reach out to the app developers, but when you tap “App Support” it just takes you to the FAQ on The Good and the Beautiful website. What?? I read a bunch of emails about app frustrations, and the general responses from TGTB was “here is a link for the website.” Why have an app is you’re just going to funnel people to the website when the app isn’t working? I really hope this glitch gets fixed, as I can’t get the videos to work on any of my devices (all up to date, all apps up to date) and I 100% prefer using the app (when it’s working) to going on the website to watch the videos.
