Updated: App subscription is misleading

Update: I have been contacted by the developers. What I thought was misleading turns out to have been a bug. They were very quick to contact me and remedy the situation. I appreciate their assistance and courtesy! Original post: The app works well but only if you maintain your subscription. Unlike buying a physical copy of your state’s laws, which contain exactly the same material, once your subscription expires you can’t view anything; including old versions. Even though the expiration notice that pops up gives you a link to view old versions, if you click on the old versions that were included in your paid subscription, it simply pops up the same notice saying your subscription is expired.

I’ve been using LawStack since 2016 and I’ve enjoyed it with no issues. It is a five star application and service. What’s even better is the support! The folks at Tekk Innovations, LLC. have always been extremely responsive with customer oriented support with every wish to address every inquiry quickly and happily. At least that has been my experience. I highly recommend those wanting a quality and stable app to access legal content that you subscribe to Law Stack. Thank you Law Stack with special thanks to Neil on the support team for the assistance in resolving an issue I caused.

This app has been around for a while. I’ve been utilizing the subscription for well over 10 years. The data and laws are always up to date. They even include the proposed changes coming in the future. The ease of use with the search feature, being able to highlight sections I utilize regularly as well as the options to email/share the sections are very resourceful. I highly recommend this app to any lawyer, court employee, judge, law buff. It’s very detailed and covers everything NY has written in its book. No need to use google with bad links and sources.
