Honestly, not a bad app. It does what it says on the tin. Camp bow wow is also my favorite place to take my dog, so this review is for the app only and not the service. My problems with the app are:1. Video feed for the cameras takes a long time to load, if it loads at all. This is a common issue with live cams, so this is more just annoying than anything else.2. Recently, I tried to open the app and it would just crash. It flashed a ‘token expired’ message that I could barely catch after a few tries. I’m assuming the token was invalidated due to the recent update, but instead of taking me back to the login page the app just died. I had to reinstall in order to be able to login again. This should be a simple fix.

I signed up for the app so I can view my dogs when I’m away. I had used a previous version which was very simple to use and I don’t think required a password. Any way the new version requires a password to view the app and when you open the app you now have to select your location rather then default to the location you select at sign up. Once you get there and try to view the livestreams it doesn’t work well and sometimes requires several taps on the screen to finally open a stream and it doesn’t work. They also have training videos on how to use the app which really should not be necessary for a well designed app that should be intuitive to use and the selection buttons should bring you to the screen you select rather than back to the selection menu. I do not direct any criticism towards the location of the kennel but rather to the incompetent app developers who roll this crap out without a thorough test. I feel like I have been deceived into signing up just for this app just for them to mine my information. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP. IT SIMPLY DOESN’T WORK.

The video doesn’t adjust on portrait/landscape correctly after updating to iOS 16.Prior to iOS 16, the full screen was cropping the video depending on the phone screen size (and it shouldn’t).Also it would be SO SIMPLE to auto load the cameras from a preferred selected location. The favorite option is pretty much useless.2 years without an update is ridiculous, CBW stopped in time and is not really focusing on their customer.A mobile app for CBW could have so much potential to allow Customers to check they pre-paid days balance, get reminders when running out and even allowing us to purchase more day care packages or even an auto-purchase when balance reaches certain amount of days. This would certainly bring a LOT of benefit for CBW Team Members up front, particularly at checkout and these abilities would minimize their need to charge a customer and have other customers waiting during peak time. Come on, CAMP BOW WOW, look ahead and don’t stay idle just because you have a business running, tomorrow a competitor can come with all the features you’ve been ignoring and you will lose business!

Very very disappointed. The old app was slow and laggy, but this updated app seems to have even taken a step backwards. I’m so confused why they still have cameras that are so pixelated and intermittent. I’ve taken my dog to three other dog daycares that have modern use of webcams. I’m not sure why this one doesn’t take advantage of that. If they were going to update the app you’d think the user interface would be more friendly for customers. Now you have to manually select each camera and wait at least 5 seconds for it to load. Previously you could see the camera you were on while you we’re switching between the cameras. Also, every time I leave the app it asks me for my sign on.Please get better developers and invest in technology that allow customers to view our dogs and not have to guess because the resolution is 480 p or whatever you guys use.
