Good app

I have no complaints about the ease of using the app for payments, checking balances and seeing transactions in my checking account. Everything works well except for transactions in my HELOC account. The system lags by 2 days; however, I believe the balance updates immediately. Anyway, I have had several instances that transfers between my HELOC and checking accounts didn’t show up immediately and I ended up entering them again and then having to wait days to correct the situation. This caused much anxiety during a recent home renovation.

Doesn’t Work Amymore

I was recently hacked. I’m not 100% sure where the hack originated, but I think it was in my email. I have been working VERY HARD to repair my accounts and protect what’s left of my private information. So I went to the bank and got new account numbers and got that all squared away. Then when I logged into the app, it showed only my old accounts. After a thirty minute call to First Horizon, I got my online/digital banking password changed and my preferences changed to reflect my new accounts.
The problem is that I was not able to successfully complete this step in the app. When I tried changing my password, the page would automatically change what I typed in to a long string of random characters. Over and over again this is what happened when I tried the process from the app. In short, I did not feel safe using this app anymore and deleted it from my phone. I guess I will have to use the web interface only from now on. This has caused me a great deal of anxiety and stress. I guess I’m just glad I can login somewhere.

Okay bank bad app

I got a First Tennessee bank account when I 18. During those times it was very friendly customer service. Had that small town bank feel. It was a great bank that I trusted. Since it has been bought out and became first horizon. It has gone down hill. With more problems not only in just regular bank use also with the mobile app. Before if the “old version” ever had some simple issue it was a matter of a 3 minute phone call and the matter was resolved with a polite representative. Which was extremely rare to have issues at all. Now with the app which the interface and layout has barely changed yet it operates terribly. When you call to fix the issue now you expect the polite and efficient customer service that you received before and it’s just not even close. I have almost switched banks a couple times in the past four years. But out of loyalty and the relationships I have with the bank clerks I deal with weekly I choose to be patience and hope these problems get worked out. Unfortunately I am starting to lose patience.
