Lots of fun!

Dink Smallwood is easy to control. The graphics and sound are good. The character backgrounds and story are interesting. The humor is great. There are loads of add-ons (Dmods) available on the Dink Network. But, the best part in my opinion, is the ability to develop and publish your own episodes/chapters in the form of self-made Dmods. If you know something about C+ and vb or java scripting then developing for this game will come very easy. First I enjoyed playing the game. Then I tried out the included Dmods. Then I pulled down some more Dmods and enjoyed those. Finally I decided to have a look at doing some of my own customizations and discovered "DinkC", a C+-like language that is very easy to manipulate. I have now completely customized my Dink Smallwood games on my Mac, PC and iPad. Lot's of fun!

Well that's silly
I played this growing up and could never remember the name, but recently found it on Reddit. I played the whole game from my iPhone 15 pro without a problem, the only issue was that I couldn’t see how much coin I had due to the white bar that’s present at the bottom of the screen in Game Mode. Some of the mods are not iPhone friendly. Pilgrim’s quest for example (one of the more popular mods), doesn’t offer a phone friendly way to type in riddle answers. I plan to try from my MacBook- even though this app is only for iPhone/iPad.

The person who developed this game (Seth?) is such a wonderful human. He made a game many years ago called L.O.R.D. (Legend of the Red Dragon). This was a BBS game for modem - if you know what this means, you know! I ran a small BBS and Seth was so great to work with. His story lines and sense of humor are legendary (see what I did there). Thank you for this treasure and the UPDATE! I’ll be playing all night and wish this developer would create more content or more games.Thank you - if we can send you money with Venmo or PayPal say the word!

This game is not perfect, a bit rudimentary and wonky in some ways, but boy is it fun if you can put up with it. I never finished the main quest in the past, so playing all the way through here was extra sweet.And it looks like rtsoft opened the floodgates, and now we have access to many dink mods (user-created worlds) right from the mobile app!If you really fall in love with this game you can even develop your own content and submit it, although I think that would require a PC.

WARNING: This update will invalidate any older "Save states". Normal saves will still load fine, so be sure to save at a normal save machine if you have a game in progress. * Many bugfixes, optimizations and improvements - Dink HD can now handle much larger DMODS due to increased limits of scripts, sequences, animations, tilescreens and soundbanks.
