I just love our First Bank family. I use to Wallace and Rose Hill all the time. Sometimes I have to stop off at other ones when out of town and the are always great. I can always count on the girls at our local banks to make me smile. They always treat us like family. I sure miss going inside during this time and speaking to all of them. Maybe we will be back to normal soon. Online banking is so easy to. Anywhere I go I can get on and just a few minutes do what I need to do.

Bank Is Good - App Is Trash
I hate…no…I loathe this garbage app. It’s worthless, it’s difficult and it’s a complete waste of time. It’s not functional, you account numbers are no where to be found, they reword things to make it complicated and navigation is the worst. So things like Credit Card are replaced with EasyView Rewards. Took me weeks to figure that out. Controls are awful as you try to pay and redirects you to a web browser that never remembers you so you always have to put in your 3 security questions which then redirects you to another page where you put in your user name and password which than redirects you again to your credit card screen. Then to make a payment…you guessed it, takes you to another screen and another web browser. It’s ridiculous. The app always leaves purchases and deposits up for days before updating to an outdated balance so the balance you see is NOT the balance you actually have and it’s VERY easy to overdraw your account if you’re not on top of it. I am about to leave the bank just because of the app. It’s not functional e and I’m just fed up with it. The woman there at the bank are amazing. Don’t get me wrong. The bank itself is good and they helped us out with a credit card but the app…dear god the awful horrible garbage app is what’s killing this whole experience. I hate their app. So I’m going to be leaving.
No means to contact app support with issue
As Support takes you to the bank’s support for banking and not anything to do with the app. In message to bank on app issue they mistook it as an Apple issue that I was asking help on. The help I wanted was finding SETTINGS in the First Bank app to give permission to use on an Apple watch. I got the app on my watch fine. Even it knows First Bank app on my phone has to approve using it on the watch. I cannot find SETTINGS in the phone app. I looked through all the menu choices or at least think I did. Overlooking it? I asked for help via on message on app to tell me where to find it. They have me Apple’s number to call. So I figure they do not understand it is a First Bank issue. Technical yes. But First Bank is to whom I need help with in assuring I can give my watch permission. I truly hate handing out a bad review off the bat as I rather reach tech support first and allow them to answer me. And those I have reached with other apps have been helpful or promised a fix soon. I will change my review once all falls in place.
