Does the job

I like the app because I can track all three dogs. I just wish each category was under each dog because it makes it confusing to have to go back to the home once the dog is selected. Plus when you’re under that category under that dog, you can’t see which dog you’re entering information for at the top. Lastly, I wish there was an actual specific selection for dog license.

Awesome for a surgical diary

My dachshund had to have spine surgery for IVDD. I haven’t ever known someone who had the surgery and so was flying blind. I knew I needed to chronicle each day to monitor his progress and ensure that he was in fact making progress. This app made it easy to keep up with diary entries and what I found to be of great importance the “milestones” feature. I can look at a glance to see where he’s made significant improvements as well as review any adjustments the vet said I’d need to make. I went for the Pro version because I needed to import photos to make sure his wounds were healing and be able to compare them day by day. My only complaint is that I can’t enter photos with each diary entry and milestone. (To be fair I just might not have figured that out yet—I’m more concerned with his surgery rehab.) There is a great section for medications which I found really helpful since he’s on so many right now. I would not have been able to organize all of this information in such a practical manner, with such easy access my husband can search and find exactly what is happening. This program was a godsend. The free version is just as good. If you have a puppy, or I assume any pet this is a great program to track vaccines, injuries, milestones etc. HIGHLY recommend.

Good pet health app, but needs some changes

I have been trying to find a good app to keep up with my pupper’s health history. So far this is my favorite one because it doesn’t require me to sync with my vet’s non-existent online records to add vaccines and such. Overall this one is a good option so that I always have her health history on hand, but it could use some changes. It would be great if I could choose from a list of vaccines and medications instead of having to type all of that information in manually. I would like to have the option to add reminders for recurring medications. A section for upcoming appointments would also be be super helpful. The app isn’t optimized to fit my 8 plus screen. The bottom of it is cut off so I can only read the top half of the bottom button descriptions.

There needs to be a field for recording vaccine brand names and anatomical location of the shot. Still trying to find a good pet care log. This isn’t really it. Close, but not there.Update:- why can’t fields for weight and date be updated to simple entry and calendar entry respectively. Needs an ergonomic update. - Reports are kind of useless for weight need to be able to see trend since start and in reasonable date ranges. (Go look at MyFitnessPal.).
