I have experience with several video surveillance systems and their apps; Axis, Exaqt, Ring, Arlo. While none are perfect this is by far the worst. If I had known it was this bad I never would have agreed to have Honeywell cameras installed. If you are considering a new installation do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.The app itself is years behind the competition. Video is difficult to review and takes forever to set up. What would takes no time on on other apps takes forever on this one. Why is this company even selling a system and app that is so bad? They should be embarrassed to have their name on this garbage.

This app is a disgrace. We paid thousands of dollars to have a Honeywell system installed and we can’t even easily remotely access anything nor navigate the app to perform basic functions like searches. After hours we’ve been able to figure out what the unmarked symbols mean but still not the simple features like saving a portion of video to the actual phone or device or an easy way to playback. My husband is a programmer and said this was horribly done. Ring system was not even close to this price and their app is so easy and reliable. Please fix so we don’t have to throw thousands of dollars down the drain for a useless app.

This app has long needed a complete rebuild from the ground up. It’s clunky with way too many unmarked buttons to press to get where you need to be. Often it is slow even when on WiFi. Take some lessons from ADT Pulse app on what a modern security app should look like. All buttons should have descriptions and bringing up cameras should not require repeated button commands and other functions should be much clearer and concise. When was the last major update to this app anyway? We spend way too much money on our security systems for a Windows 95 like app like this. Pathetic.

This app is useless. In order to monitor my cameras, I have to re-add them every time. In addition, we can’t play back video from our cameras on this app (even when on the same network). You can only view the video which you saved...as it was happening. What’s the point of that for a security system?! We had a cheap one at our old place and the app was much better...it functioned. I just had much higher expectations of Honeywell as a company and assumed I wouldn’t even have to worry about that.
