Calvin Corrieri ,

This app does Apples job for them.

I would love to see the airplay controls, up next, and dots from the stock now playing screen, but I’m still happy to have at least the basic play/pause and skip buttons accessible from my watch face. Thank you to the developer, and an open letter to Apple: why is the stock now playing not available on all watch faces? Why????????????????????????

I don’t see the time saving…

Downloaded this app due to a recommendation heard on MacBreak Weekly. Was hoping the complication would bring me to the stock Apple Now Playing app, but it doesn’t. Instead the first tap brings up an unnecessary splash screen; a second tap brings up the Now Playing+ screen which isn’t as good as the stock Apple app. So that’s two taps to get a so-so useful UI.

Contrast that to my default action: (1) press the crown to bring up App View (2) tap icon, which I purposely place near dead center, for stock Apple Now Playing app. So, yes, still two steps, but result is a more powerful result, imo.

Crennie ,

Just what I needed.

Thank you, it does exactly what I needed.. which is a watch face shortcut to WHATEVER is playing.

How this has not made it to stock watchOS, is a mystery to me.

Thanks again.
