I started using this app months ago and never picked up my paper check register again. It is simple yet powerful. The *only* issue I've had with it, where I would lose a bit of data in the process of iCloud sync, was addressed within just a couple days after I emailed the developer for help. Excellent and kind support. I highly recommend.

this morning my app was fine. everything was the same as i left it yesterday, and the day before, etc., etc. this evening, all of it was gone. months and months of transactions—all gone. despite having the icloud backup option checked, and a backup having been made two days ago, restoring the backup restored nothing at all. so i’m screwed. it’s all gone. initially i had loved this app because it provided many things my previous check register app lacked. but now none of that matters, because my trust in this app is ruined. so tomorrow i’ll begin the aggravating process of finding a different check register app, which will hopefully be more trustworthy than this one is

I'm very sorry for the trouble with your data.There was an issue found in previous versions of the app (3.0.0 & 3.0.1) that caused a few users to lose their data. The main issue occurred for users who were sharing their transactions with another user via email, when importing a transaction from the email. That issue should be resolved in the latest version released a few months ago.I understand that you tried to restore your device from an iCloud Backup to get your transactions back, but if you had previously enabled iCloud Drive storage for your data, you may not be able to recover your transactions. I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.Thank you for your understanding. I hope that with the latest update you can continue using the app without any further issues.

I’ve been using a paper check register for years. I like to know what’s in my account at all times. I stumbled across this app and stopped using paper. when I’m on the go I can enter data instead of waiting to get home, I don’t have to add or subtract anymore! 10 out of 10 I would recommend this app.

Love it, use it to keep myself from overreaching with my finances and allow me to not miss important bills. However, at the begin of each month I have to plug in the data fresh each time. I for example, cannot copy “mortgage” for “x” amount, and so on. And just change the date to the new month. That way the original log entry remains and a new copied one is made with the new date. Great for monthly expenses.
