First the hardware seems solid. The app seemed to track all the shots accurately as i could determine and despite the quirks (annoying but live-able), exporting data out is where it fails. I can only see 4 of 6 sessions on iPhone (was showing all of them earlier). So when I export to excel I don’t have two sessions. I synced to ipad, saw all six sessions, but once exported, all had same session name, cartridge, projectile grain weight and other variables! To figure out, I was fortunate as i was also plotting the grouping separately on graph paper and wrote session start time on each load so i could reconcile. I looked at session time and shot count, then and figured it out. All the session names, the notes section were reverted. Even syncing with iPad it was not there. Added hours to post shooting reconciliation. I didn’t appreciate if i had not been taking paper notes, that i may had had to reshoot $250 in ammo if I couldn’t disentangle this mess

I am giving them two stars since integration to the chronograph is so new. Otherwise a solid one star product. I should have saved my money for the Garmin. The chronograph itself works great. However after shooting a day at the range and trying to sync data, only my last two sessions were pulled into the phone app. I had a bunch of different loads and can’t see them on my phone. The app is not very intuitive and difficult to use. It is mainly build for rifle, I shoot a lot of pistol and keeping track of gun and load was difficult. Notes field is hidden by keyboard so it’s almost worthless. I’d love to see a feature to take a picture of groups with the data. Hopefully there are upgrades coming soon.
Non-functional
Bigd4512
As others have said, the app is about useless. Part of the problem is the phone and the unit will not stay connected by way of Bluetooth. And once you get connected, there’s a whole plethora of issues. Cannot find the unit once you hit the manage button to sync data it listed the unit twice in the list of connected devices, etc. and I agree with others. The list of scopes is useless because it only lists Athlon scopes. Though they may be good they aren’t the only scopes on the marketplace. The app would really be functional if first we can get connected and stay connected and then the data would sync, but keep it simple. Eliminate the gun profiles and the bullets and other stuff and just track & manage the velocity and related data like energy, power factor, etc. The unit itself is wonderful small lightweight very functional and you can get the app going, this thing would be perfect.
Nearly useless app
AU Works
This app is beyond weak and is nearly useless compared to the other free and even cheap paid ballistic apps. You have to put a bullet profile under each rifle you put in the app but can’t access a bullet across rifle platforms even though it may just be a standard factory load you could be using in several rifles. So, you have to put the same bullet profile in multiple times and, you can’t name it the same each time. It says it’s a duplicate at that point even though you can’t use it for that cartridge because it’s on another rifle. Chronograph is primary usage for the app and it doesn’t sync the majority of your range session. While the chronograph seems great, the app is a major downfall. I hope they give the chronograph a dedicated app just for downloading and storing data.
