Welcome to Tap Timer - the silent interval timer you feel on your wrist.
Forget distracting alarms and beeps. Tap Timer uses the Taptic Engine of your Apple Watch to deliver precise, silent vibration patterns for every phase change. In a loud gym, a quiet library, a boxing ring, or a breathwork practice: you feel exactly where you are in your routine without ever looking at a screen.
BUILD COMPLEX INTERVALS
From a standard Tabata, heavy lifting session, or kettlebell workout to CrossFit WODs, pilates, and circuit training. Structure your workout timer on iPhone using an intuitive drag-and-drop editor. Everything syncs instantly to your wrist via iCloud. No accounts, no subscriptions, no setup.
DISTINCT HAPTIC FEEDBACK
Assign distinct vibration alerts for your prep countdown, work phase, rest timer, and cool-down. Keep it subtle for a meditation timer or breathwork, or sharp and distinct for a boxing or MMA training session.

I was looking for an interval timer for my Apple Watch because I wanted something that would let me keep track of time without constantly looking at the screen. Most timer apps I tried were either too complicated or too focused on workouts. What I really like here is the haptic feedback. I can set up my own intervals and just feel when it’s time to move on to the next one. I’ve been using it for stretching and sometimes for meditation, and it works really well for that. Once everything is set up, I basically don’t have to think about the timer anymore. The app took me a few minutes to fully understand at first, but now I really like how flexible it is.
Much more flexible than most timer apps

I downloaded this because I needed a timer where I could create my own sequence instead of using a fixed workout preset. That’s probably my favorite thing about it. You can make the intervals as simple or as detailed as you want, and the Apple Watch haptics make it really easy to use without interrupting what you’re doing. I’ve tried a few similar apps before, but they usually had too many unnecessary features or didn’t let me customize things enough. This one gives me the options I need without feeling overloaded.
Finally!

A timer that will not interrupt your music, and that you do not have to manually shut off. It just gives you a quick buzz, that’s it!The team that built, it is continuing to improve the user experience. With every penny!
Wouldn’t sync to watch

I could never get the timers I made on my phone to sync to Apple Watch even after I bought the pro version.
Developer Response
Hi, I’m really sorry the sync hasn’t worked for you.Just to clarify, syncing intervals between iPhone and Apple Watch is not supposed to depend on Pro. Tap Timer is intentionally usable for free so the core workflow, including syncing, can be tested and used before deciding whether the additional Pro features are needed. The intervals are synced through iCloud. Could you check whether your iCloud storage is full? Syncing can also occasionally be delayed when one of the devices is in Low Power Mode. One thing that would be especially helpful to know: when you first installed Tap Timer, did the example intervals from the iPhone appear on your Apple Watch, or was syncing already not working at that point? You can also create intervals directly on the Apple Watch if needed. If this still isn’t working, please email me through the support contact in the app. I’m a solo developer and would really like to understand what’s going wrong in your case and get it working for you.Max
What’s New in This Version:
• NEW: Ready for iPhone Duo – Tap Timer now fully supports foldable and wide displays! When unfolded, the app automatically takes advantage of the extra screen space: keep your interval overview in view on the left while your timers run on the right.
• Tabletop Mode & Audio Guidance: Prop your iPhone up on a desk or workout mat, and Tap Timer automatically softens loud vibrations while playing clear, subtle audio cues to guide you through each phase.
• Noticeably Smoother: Refined animations and tailored sensory feedback throughout the app make every interaction feel more fluid and premium.
• Performance & Future-Proofing: Optimized tile and text layouts across all screen sizes, stability improvements, and preparations for upcoming iOS releases.
