A big update for both phones. New • Your phone sounds a siren when the Monitor goes offline or the car gets too hot, as long as PawMode is open. Silence it with one tap. • Printable “Protected by PawMode” window sign, in 18 languages, with scan-to-call codes for your two numbers. Optionally add a code that shows passers-by the car's live temperature. • Flip the Monitor's camera straight from the live view. • Adjustable sensitivity for bark and motion detection. • Search in the Monitor's Settings. • Proximity: see the Monitor's signal strength and set your own “nearby” boundary. • The Monitor shows its status on the Lock Screen while it runs. • Pinch to zoom on snapshots. Improved • Your phone now says when the backup alert service is delayed, so you know to keep PawMode open. • No more “Monitor screen locked” while the Monitor is awake. • Pausing one offline alert no longer quiets the backup service for longer than you chose. • Alerts keep reaching you after your phone's notification address changes.

A reliability update for pairs where the Monitor is left locked. Fixed • A locked Monitor could stop getting its status through for long stretches, which raised false “Monitor offline” alerts on your phone, sometimes repeatedly through the night. Its updates are now sent far more reliably while the screen is locked. • “Quiet for 1 hour”, “4 hours” and “until morning” now last for the time you chose. Before, the quiet period was cancelled whenever the Monitor dropped out and came back.

Your Monitor is now watched even when PawMode isn't running. Until now, alerts could only reach you while the app was awake — so the one failure that matters most, a Monitor that dies silently in the car, was the one it could miss. A small service we operate now watches your Monitor's heartbeat and alerts your phone even when PawMode is closed. New • Backup alerting — if your Monitor stops reporting, you're told, even with the app closed. See the Privacy Policy for what the service holds. • Critical Alerts — genuine emergencies can be heard through silent mode and Do Not Disturb, with your permission. • Off duty — stop being alerted for an hour, until morning, or until you turn it back on. Your Monitor shows when no one is listening, so a paused phone can't quietly leave your pet uncovered. • Photos are encrypted — snapshots are now encrypted with a key held only by your two phones. Pairs set up before this update keep sending unencrypted photos until you pair the phones again; your Monitor shows a reminder with a button that does it. • Sooner on heat — the emergency cabin alert now sounds at 30°C instead of 35°C. 35°C is where every dog is in trouble; 30°C is where the ones most at risk already are. • Photos are cleared automatically — snapshots older than 48 hours are deleted rather than kept indefinitely. Fixed • A shared Premium could keep unlocking features long after the other phone stopped confirming it. • A purchase could fail to register as Premium on the phone that made it.

Your subscription now covers both phones. One Premium unlocks every feature on the Monitor and on the phone you carry — no second purchase. New • Keep screen bright — hold the Monitor's display at full brightness so anyone looking through the car window can read your message and contact number. • Record session log — capture what the app is doing and share it if you ever need to report a problem. Improved • When the Monitor pauses its camera to cool down, you're told why instead of seeing a black rectangle. • If the Monitor's screen locks, your other phone now tells you — and keeps telling you — instead of quietly going quiet. • Clearer setup guidance on keeping the Monitor awake, and why that matters. Fixed • Premium could fail to activate after a successful purchase. • Your display message could appear empty on the Personal phone. • Snapshots could arrive from a camera that had been interrupted. • A broken link to the privacy policy.
