Go Daisy - Weather for Doing
Daily nudge to do more, better
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad
Freshly redesigned, and completely free. Tell us what you love and we'll tell you when the weather's perfect for it. Sometimes a nudge is all you need to have a great day
One message a day. Nothing else, ever.
You pick the hour. At that hour Go Daisy tells you, in one sentence, what the day is actually good for:
"Today is a day for a walk. Dry, 24°C."
"Tomorrow is a day for kayaking. Flat enough to paddle, light south-westerly."
Often it says no. A grey Tuesday gets nothing at all — because a daily "it's a bit grey" is how an app teaches you to swipe it away. Silence means there was nothing worth interrupting you for.
WHAT IT READS
Wind and gusts, swell and wave height, tide, air and sea temperature, cloud, rain, UV, pressure and moonlight — scored against more than a hundred activities. The 25 km/h wind that ruins badminton is a kitesurfer's best day of the month. Go Daisy scores them differently.
Forecasts from Open-Meteo, Stormglass and the Norwegian Meteorological Institute.
SETTING IT UP
Three questions: what you do, where you are, and when you want to hear from us. About a minute. Signing in is what lets the message find you.
WHAT IT COVERS
Walking, running, hiking, road and mountain biking, gravel, climbing, surfing, kitesurfing, paddleboarding, kayaking, sailing, open-water swimming, fishing, golf, tennis, birdwatching, foraging, stargazing, photography, picnics, barbecues, dog walks, café mornings — and about eighty more, indoors included for the days the answer is no.
Free, with a tip jar if you want to keep it going.
