Chef Marcellus, in your kitchen. A 22-year, Michelin-trained chef persona now writes every recipe — with opinion, real technique, and the specific "chef's move" that makes a dish work. No more "season to taste." No more "cook until done." What's new: • Meet the chef — Marcellus appears across the app: paywall portrait, his face on every recipe's headnote, plating shot on the chat start screen, and a new "Your Chef" bio in Profile. • Editorial recipe view — long-scroll layout with serif headlines, checkable ingredients, big-numeral steps. Built for the counter, not the cubicle. • Bon Appétit–style chef's notes — a short, opinionated headnote on each recipe explaining why this dish, why now. • Shopping list polish — no more "6 cloves garlic cloves" duplicates. The ingredient picker now has a chunky checkbox, strikethrough on unchecked rows, and a clearer "Add X items" button. • Cleaner chat — friendlier empty state with shortcuts to Cooking Tools and Restaurant Copycats right where you start. • Honest paywall — clearer plan details. Premium is $4.99/month — unlimited recipes, restaurant copycats, weekly meal planning, voice + photo input. Cook something good tonight.
