Recordings are more reliable when the screen is locked or another device is connected. If a dictation is interrupted, Sampson now recovers instead of losing the take, and your phone will tap you if a recording stops in your pocket. Music and other audio also resume after you finish a note. You can now choose which microphone Sampson records through — phone, headphones, or a lapel mic — in Settings.

More reliable recording — if the app is killed mid-dictation, Sampson saves what it can (usually all but the last minute), start the note, and let you pick up where you left off. Your phone now alerts you if a recording stops unexpectedly, even locked and in your pocket. No more silent failures. Notes warn you when part of a take may be missing, so nothing is quietly built from incomplete audio. Sharper HPI and more control over how detailed the note is. Copying a note into the chart is now plain text — flagged wording no longer pastes in red.
