USAGE
1. Enable Bluetooth and Health access – that allow HeartBLE to listen to heart rate data from Apple Watch and broadcast it via Bluetooth.
2. Tap Start. HeartBLE would enter the Discoverable mode.
3. Pair your device as usual, by selecting HeartBLE in the Bluetooth menu. It will either show your Apple Watch name, or "HeartBLE".
4. As you finish, don't forget to tap End - that will discard the workout and save your Apple Watch battery.
SETUP
Connect HeartBLE to third-party apps:
- Zwift: Let's go > select activity type > Heart Rate > pick your watch > Close.
- MyWhoosh: Enter your profile > choose activity type > connect power source first > click Heart Rate banner > select your Apple Watch name from the list.
- Tacx Training: Settings > Device Manager > Other Devices > HeartBLE.
- Strava on iPhone: open Record tab > open bottom panel (pull the handle up) > Add a sensor > select your device name > Done.
… and devices:
- BSC100S: Enter E3 mode by pressing the right button, press the left button, and wait until heart rate appears. During the pairing you may restart HeartBLE if it's not detected right away.
TROUBLESHOOTING
- "Purchased" on App Store.
The app shows "Purchased" on your iPhone because it's Apple Watch only. That doesn't mean you spent any money — it merely indicates that you tapped "Get" before. I recommend opening the App Store on your watch, searching for HeartBLE, and downloading it there.
- I can't complete Free Trial or Premium purchase.
If this issue appears, I recommend relaunching the app:
1. Double-press the watch crown
2. Swipe HeartBLE left in the list
3. Tap X
4. Start the app again
It may take several attempts, but you should finally be able to complete your purchase.
- App is kicked off when I start another workout.
This app can't be used simultaneously with other workout apps on the watch – new workout will abort the previous one!
- Bicycle computer forgets the HeartBLE.
- I pair it again and the second "HeartBLE" appears.
For your privacy, the Apple Watch rotates the Bluetooth address; it helps to prevent tracking. Some bicycle computers do not support address rotation, so you would have to pair them again after you reboot your watch or relaunch the HeartBLE.

I built this app for myself, and I'm glad to share it with you.
Very simple and useful app: it broadcasts heart rate from my Apple Watch over Bluetooth. One tap and it showed up in Zwift, with no phone in the middle and no companion app to fight with. The first reading arrives almost instantly. I also like that it doesn't save a separate workout on the watch, so my data isn't duplicated. No ads, no tracking is really nice. If you've been riding or rowing without HR because the Watch wouldn't pair, get this.
Worked with my ERG!

This connected as a heart rate monitor to my NordicTrack RW500 rowing machine perfectly. Works well, broadcasts heart rate as expected, and now I can focus on the device screen. Love that there was a trial to test it, and just a one time purchase. Much better experience than fiddling with iFit, getting signed out, etc. Great app!
Finally found an app that actually works

Rouvy companion was working like once in a year, so I was riding without heart rate. Now I found something that consistently connects to my notebook, so I can put my Apple Watch to use. Thanks!
Works with Zwift!

Perfectly connects and sends heart rate to Zwift, recommend 👍
Fixed a crash on launch affecting TestFlight users.
