Manage your energy levels
FatigueSense helps you understand your energy and pace your days, so you can do more of what matters with less risk of crashing.
Built by digital health researchers, it links data from your wearable with quick daily check-ins to show how your activity, recovery, and fatigue relate over time. It is designed with and for people living with persistent fatigue — ME/CFS, long COVID, fibromyalgia, cancer-related fatigue, and other long-term conditions.
What you can do
• See your daily energy budget and how much you have left
• Get an early signal when you may be approaching post-exertional malaise (PEM)
• Track strain, recovery, HRV, resting heart rate, and sleep in one place
• Plan activities that fit within your personal energy envelope
• Log crashes and check-ins so the app learns your individual patterns
• Connect a wearable, or use manual daily entry — no device required
Works with your wearable Apple Watch, Oura, Garmin, WHOOP, Polar, Withings, Fitbit, and more.
An honest, research-led approach FatigueSense is assistive and statistical. Its outputs complement your own judgment — they do not diagnose or treat any condition, and they are not validated for every diagnosis. Fatigue is not one thing, and the app does not assume all conditions behave the same way. You know your body best.
FatigueSense is a wellness and self-management app. It is not a
medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any
disease. Energy estimates, pacing guidance and symptom risk indicators are
informational only and are not medical advice. Always speak to a qualified
healthcare professional about your health, and before changing anything about
your treatment or care. If you think you are having a medical emergency,
contact your local emergency services.
I have been using this app for about a month with my Apple Watch. I love it. It is still somewhat early in development, which explains the tweaks others mention. I am here for all of it. I find the insights and recommendations to be accurate. If I ignore a recommendation to take it easy - wham, 20 minutes later, the crash hits 😅 I know some users think the dashboard is slightly convoluted, but I love being able to switch between the simple view and the full view, with full view being my preference. I find it immensely helpful being able to click on Data, HRV for instance, and then see the graph, my average, maximum and minimum. Seeing the data being collected (and being able to review trends) gives me confidence in the app’s insights and recommendations. Other apps I’ve used in the past are so simple with such opaque scores and not enough options for data input that they are vague, unhelpful, and inaccurate. Not Fatigue Sense. Grateful for this tool.
Fantastic app, new but promising!

I’m only a week in and so far love the app! It’s new so they’re still working out kinks and adding features but it’s basically like the popular wearable band but you get to use your device of choice! I’m using an older Apple Watch so I don’t get many all of the metrics but it’s been so helpful for me with pacing and seeing my data to match- looking forward to sharing with my medical professionals as well. Their team has been incredibly responsive and opened to feedback in real time it’s really cool to see and be a part of helping shape the app as well! I will come back and update in a few months on how it’s progressed and once all of the features unlock for me. (it spends anywhere from 7-30 days learning about you from your Data, which is amazing) well worth the wait! Thank you, developers for creating this app for us chronically ill folx! Exactly what I was looking for!

This app has been very useful in being mindful of my energy levels and limits. The recent updates have improved the function of the app immensely. It would be nice to be able to put multiple of the same event on my smart day plan, so that, for example, I can track driving to and from an appointment as two separate events with distinct start/stop times so it shows up correctly on my exertion graph. It would also be nice to be able to choose if an activity you list on your plan is saved as a preset for later, instead of automatically saving all of them, which makes the list of default activities very cluttered and hard to navigate easily.

I am honestly in happy tears how this app is helping me. I’ve had CFS for a very long time, and was struggling to understand the pattern that kept me only able to drive 1-2 days per month, and why after one day of being more active led to weeks of being bedbound. This app clearly showed me how severe PEM has been, and has given me hope that I can manage it better. I felt so overwhelmed for so many years, doctors and PT didn’t understand and gave me advice that made me worse, and I finally feel like I have real help now. I was struggling to pace all these years without this needed data. God bless the makers of this app.
