Ovals turns your iPhone into your ears and your voice. Speech to text captions the room live and tells you WHO is saying what. Text to speech lets you type, or tap a saved phrase, and says it out loud for you in a natural voice. Both at the same time, in the same conversation.
KNOW WHO'S TALKING
• Every voice around you becomes live word-by-word captions, and Voice Identification tells the speakers apart automatically. Each person gets their own color, so a busy room reads like a group chat
• Register the voices you know, up to 50 of them, and each person appears by name. Unknown voices are still told apart on the spot
• Captions land under a second behind the speaker, with industry-leading accuracy across accents, dialects and noisy rooms
• 55+ caption languages, including bilingual modes that follow two languages mixed in the same conversation
• Smart Filter labels background speech, TV and passersby, so your conversation never drowns in background chatter

YOUR VOICE, AT THE SAME TIME
• Type while the captions roll and Ovals says it out loud in a natural voice: read the room and answer it, both at once
• Choose from hundreds of voices from Apple, OpenAI and ElevenLabs, or clone your own voice privately, right on your iPhone
• Saved Phrases keep the things you say most one tap away
• AI Quick Reply reads the conversation and suggests replies that fit the context. Add your own instructions to steer the tone, and give it documents and notes it remembers across every conversation
REAL PHONE CALLS
• Call any number and read the whole call, word by word, as it happens
• Reply by speaking, typing, or tapping a saved phrase. The other side hears a natural voice
(Ovals Call is not a replacement for your phone and cannot make emergency calls.)
HEAR THE WORLD
• Sound Alerts flag doorbells, alarms and sirens the moment they happen, and notify you even when you're outside the app
• Name Alert taps you on the shoulder when your name, or any word you choose, is said, in any language
• Every alert can flash your screen or camera light, so you never need to hear it

TRANSLATE LIVE
• Captions arrive translated as people speak, right under the original, speaker names and all
• Type in your language and Ovals speaks it aloud in theirs
SEE THE VOLUME
• When someone shouts or whispers, the caption shows it: a [shouting] or [whispers] tag like TV captions, or shouted words grow big and bold while whispers fade faint. Or both
• A live loudness bar along the bottom edge rises and falls with the room, in every mode, even while your own typed words are being spoken
