AmbassaTour: Campus Tours That Actually Help You Choose
Choosing a college is one of the biggest decisions you'll ever make. So why are you stuck on a generic tour with 50 strangers, following a scripted route that has nothing to do with your goals?
AmbassaTour matches you with a real student guide who shares your major, interests, and background — so your campus visit finally answers the questions that matter to YOU.
How It Works
Tell us what you care about: your intended major, extracurriculars, the things you actually want to see on campus. Our matching algorithm pairs you with a current student who gets it, because they've lived it. Browse guide profiles, pick someone who resonates, and book a tour on your schedule — not just when the admissions office says so.
Personalized From Start to Finish
Message your guide before you arrive to share your must-see spots, specific questions, or accessibility needs. Your tour is built around what matters to you — skip the standard route and go straight to the engineering labs, the theatre, the dining halls, or the dorms you'd actually live in.
Honest, Unscripted Perspectives
No rehearsed talking points. No sanitized sales pitch. Your guide is a real student sharing their real experience — the good, the challenges, and everything the brochure won't tell you. After your tour, stay connected with your guide to ask follow-up questions throughout your college decision process.
Built for Every Family
Can't travel to campus? Book a personalized virtual tour over Zoom and get the same one-on-one experience from anywhere in the world. Need a guide who speaks your language? We offer language preference matching for international families. Require accessibility accommodations? Request a guide trained in accessible routes so every student experiences a welcoming visit.
Tools to Help You Decide
Visiting multiple schools? Use the Comparison Notes feature to save impressions from each tour and compare side-by-side when decision time comes. No more schools blurring together after your fifth visit.
For Parents Too
Parents can request information tracks focused on safety, financial aid, career outcomes, and support services — the things you need to know while your student focuses on finding their fit.
