The lights now land on the drop the instant the kick comes back – no more lag, no more double effect switch. • No more blackouts on breaks. A one-beat pause before a drop no longer confuses the engine; it holds its place and hits the drop. • Steadier section detection. Calm, build, peak, and breakdown are read from a cleaner signal, so the mood of the room follows the music instead of flickering between states. • Smoother wind-downs. Six new calm and breakdown transitions, and they now start from where the room actually is instead of flashing bright first. • Section Effects. Choose exactly which effects – including your own synth patches – each part of a song may use. Keep it subtle in the breakdown, go all out at the peak. • Strobe follows the tempo. Strobe speed now adapts to the BPM automatically. Turn Auto off to set it by hand. • Raw Mic mode. Bypasses the phone's automatic mic gain so loud and quiet passages keep their contrast. On by default, switchable in Advanced. • Compact Speaker detection. The app now notices when it's listening to a small speaker and adjusts on its own. You can still force it on or off. • Your settings stick. Dynamic Energy remembers its on/off state and your sliders between sessions, and hands your effect back when you turn it off. • Fixed: custom palette colors no longer turn lighter after saving. • Experimental: Predictive Drop fires the drop right on the phrase boundary. Smart Strobe & New Effects A much more musical SonicHue Sync — the lights now follow the song's structure instead of just reacting to noise. This release teaches the engine to understand build-ups, drops, and quiet sections like a DJ does. Smart Strobe — Now It Listens • Strobe behavior is independent of volume — phone speaker, club PA, soft or loud, same consistency. • Auto-fires during build-ups, ends the instant the kick lands. • 10 distinct strobe patterns: Chase, Reverse, Ping-Pong, Flash, Pairs, Sparkle, Center Out, Edges In, Staccato, Heartbeat. Each burst picks a different one with anti-repeat memory. • New Strobe Threshold slider — slide left for ambient (no bursts), right for club-mode aggressive triggering. • New Strobe Frequency slider — flash speed from gentle 150 ms to club-tight 40 ms.
