- Sign in with a text message. On the login screen, tap "Sign in with a text message" and enter your mobile number. We text you a 6-digit code to sign in with, so you don't need your password. It works on the web, iPhone and Android. - Codes fill in automatically. Your phone recognises the sign-in text and offers the code above the keyboard. On Android with Chrome, the website can fill it in and sign you in without any tapping. - Add your mobile number at signup. The signup form has a new optional "Mobile number" field, so you can sign in by text from day one. Adding a number doesn't sign you up for reminder texts. - Phone numbers are easier to enter. Every phone field formats your number as (415) 555-2671 while you type. You can type or paste it any way you like, with dashes, dots, spaces or a leading 1. - Fixes: - Editing your phone number in Settings no longer scrambles the saved number. - Typing a leading "1" no longer cuts off the last digit of your number. - Signup no longer rejects numbers with brackets or dashes, like (415) 555-2671. - Security: sign-in codes expire after 10 minutes and work only once. A code stops working after 5 wrong tries, and how many codes can be requested is limited.

We're releasing an improved settings and an announcement sharing our new "Ginger Cares" feature set with proactive interaction. AND A BUCKETS OF LOVE!

Switching between family profiles now works correctly. Previously the app could keep showing the previous person's data after you switched — and could show the wrong data when you switched back to yourself. Every screen now reloads for the profile you selected. Food logging fixes: • Entries record what you actually typed. Logging "chicken thigh" no longer saves "chicken breast." • You can now edit or delete a food log entry after saving it. Logging a vital under "Other" now keeps the name you typed instead of saving it as "Other Vital," and the Notes field is saved with your entry. When Ginger updates something for you — featured biomarkers, supplements, food logs — the change now appears immediately instead of after a restart. Supplement timing schedules display correctly. Fixed several source links in Ginger's citations that led to dead pages.

Switching between family profiles now works correctly. When you change to a family member's profile — or back to your own — every screen updates to show the right person's information immediately. Attachments in chat now show their filename, so you can confirm you've sent the right file before Ginger reads it.

Meet the new, proactive Ginger! • Text with Ginger — verify your phone in Settings and chat with her by SMS. She remembers your conversation and can log sleep, mood, symptoms, and supplements right from a text. • Morning & evening check-ins — opt in and Ginger asks how you slept or how your day went, at times you choose. • Smart nudges — Ginger reaches out when she notices something, like sleep trending down or new lab results ready. • New Journal tab — reply to Ginger's evening prompt and it becomes a journal entry you can revisit in Health Insights. • Bug fixes and performance improvements.

This version updates the meds & supps features with a unified scheduler. Now you get both your medications AND your supplements schedule in it's own tab. Additionally, we released a number of bug fixes and improved our build process.
