I’ve been quilting for 12 years and run a quilting business, and Makerly is exactly the kind of design tool I’ve been looking for. I recently used it to design a memory quilt from a customer’s clothing. I photographed the fabrics, placed the actual images into the quilt blocks, auditioned background fabrics, and was able to show exactly how the finished design would come together. There is an impressive amount of quilting knowledge built into this app, yet once I learned the workflow, it was quick and intuitive to use. I especially love the ability to visualize fabrics and audition quilting pantographs—features that are genuinely useful in my business. There are a few areas I’d love to see expanded as the program develops, particularly custom block design, but I’m excited about where Makerly is headed. At $10/month after the trial, I think it’s an excellent value. Highly recommend!

Finally! This is what I’ve wanted for years! Makerly helps me with quilt layouts. fabrics requirements. see my actual fabrics in designs and so much more. I’m a professional quilter, and this has already saved me so much time. There are many other features I haven’t really explored yet, like embroidery but plan to. With a free two-week trial what have you got to lose? Give it a try — you’ll be glad you did!

The monthly price is outrageous
