A Live Activity on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island starts it, stops it, and nudges the tempo by 1 or 5 BPM without unlocking. • Redesigned metronome screen: a bigger tap pad, with Reset and Play/Stop as real buttons pinned at the bottom instead of a swipe hint printed inside the pad. Tapping out a tempo now works while the click is running. • Four more languages: German, Japanese, Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese, alongside English. Pick yours under Language in Settings, whatever language your iPhone is set to. • Open in: choose which music app a detected song opens in, from the new Open in row in Settings. • VoiceOver no longer announces "Session reset" when a tap session simply times out. Sharper readings from speakers and car systems, and a metronome that stays put. • Better tempo detection over Bluetooth speakers, car audio and headsets. Those inputs hand the app audio at a lower sample rate, and an internal check was quietly discarding good detections because of it. It no longer does. • The metronome no longer goes quiet on you. Free for everyone. • Compound time that counts properly: 6/8, 9/8 and 12/8 now group in threes instead of clicking flat quarter notes, and 7/8 lets you pick 2+2+3 or 3+2+2. The beat dots follow the grouping. • Twelve new click sounds in MagicBPM Pro: woodblock, claves, xylophone, cowbell, bass guitar, hi-hat, tambourine, shaker, triangle and more. Each one is modeled on how the real instrument rings, not stretched from a sample. • Hear before you buy: tap play beside any sound to audition it, locked or not, and swap sounds while the metronome is running. • Songs you identify are now saved on your iPhone from the very first one, free or Pro. Pro unlocks the list. MagicBPM can now name the song. • Song identification: tap Identify while you listen and Apple's music recognition shows the title, artist, and artwork next to the live BPM.
