Afoot: Foodie City Map & Cafes
Find local coffee, food & bars
Only for Watch
Free
Apple Watch
Afoot is a fully standalone Apple Watch app for people who explore. Tell it
once what you love — coffee, ramen, bakeries, parks, bookshops — and it quietly
finds those places around you as you move through a city. No phone needed.
Ever.
GLANCE, DON'T HUNT
Add Afoot to your watch face. Complications show how many of your kind of
places are within walking distance and how far the nearest one is — updated as
you move. In the Smart Stack, Afoot surfaces itself exactly when you're
somewhere with places worth discovering.
NEW PLACE ALERTS
Walk into a new neighborhood and Afoot taps you on the wrist: new places
you'd love, with walking distances. Keep walking, keep discovering. Turn it
off any time — your wrist, your rules.
MAKE IT YOURS
Three hand-tuned themes: Light (crisp white cards with deep purple ink),
Dark, and Classic. Pick one during setup, switch any time, and the whole
app repaints instantly.
BUILT FOR THE WRIST
• 100% standalone — works on cellular or Wi-Fi without your iPhone
• Walking time to every place, not just distance
• Live "open now" status and hours when available
• Map preview and one tap to walking directions in Apple Maps
• Your walkability radius (500 m to 5 km), your categories — plus custom ones
• Works in English, French, German, Spanish, Japanese, and Simplified Chinese
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No account. No ads. No tracking. No analytics. Afoot runs no servers — your
location never leaves your watch except to search Apple Maps, and your
preferences stay on your device.
Afoot is for the traveler who'd rather look at the city than at a screen.
Set it up in thirty seconds, then forget it's there — until it buzzes with
something delicious around the corner.
Something good is always afoot.
