Osprey Life is an AI-powered curtain assistant for motorized shades. Unlike generic smart-home apps that lead with device dashboards, Osprey Life leads with conversation — type or speak what you want your curtains to do, and the assistant handles the rest. WHY OSPREY LIFE - AI Chat as Your Home Screen: Open the app and you're already talking to your assistant. No menus, no grids — just type, speak, or tap a quick suggestion. - Slash Commands: Type "/devices", "/scenes", "/schedule", or "/help" right in chat to jump straight to what you need. - Voice Control: Tap the mic and speak — "open the bedroom curtain", "close everything". The transcript and the assistant's response stay in the same conversation. - On-Device AI (when available): On iPhones with Apple Intelligence enabled, the assistant is powered by on-device Foundation Models — nothing leaves your phone. On other devices, a deterministic intent parser keeps the chat useful and offline-safe. - Tap-to-Run Scenes: Chain multiple curtain actions into a single tap. Open the side drawer to create and manage scenes. - Drawer Navigation: Quick access to Devices, Scenes, Add a curtain, Scan QR, Profile, and Settings from the hamburger menu. WHO IT'S FOR Owners of Dracaena motorized curtains and shades who want a conversational, AI-first experience instead of another device dashboard. Compatible with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth curtain hardware from Dracaena. PRIVACY-FIRST - Foundation Models (when available) run entirely on your device. - No third-party analytics, no advertising trackers. - Permissions are explained in plain language and can be revoked anytime in iOS Settings. PERMISSIONS EXPLAINED - Microphone: For voice commands to your assistant. - Speech Recognition: For transcribing your voice on device. - Bluetooth: For discovering and pairing new Dracaena curtain hardware. - Local Network: For communicating with curtains on your Wi-Fi.
