Speech recognition runs on your iPhone. Your audio is not uploaded for transcription. Use on-device transcription without an account or an AI API key.
No ads, tracking or analytics. Your dictation history stays on your device.
OPTIONAL AI POLISH
Want help tidying your words? Add your own Anthropic API key in Settings to use Claude for filler-word removal, punctuation and text cleanup. This optional feature sends transcribed text to Anthropic, not your audio, and may incur charges on your Anthropic account.
Without a key, TalkQuill uses local text cleanup and makes no AI service requests.
A simple place to speak a first draft before copying it into your writing. TalkQuill is a standalone dictation app, not a replacement keyboard.
Requires microphone and speech recognition permissions. On-device recognition availability depends on your device and supported language. Enjoy the core dictation experience without configuring AI services. See the privacy policy for details.
