ArcoPraxis is a practice app built to help you learn faster and play better. Whether you’re a student working through your teacher’s assignment or a player drilling a passage that won’t stick, ArcoPraxis turns your score into a focused practice coach—so you can make real progress every session.
Tired of slowing down YouTube so you can play along with the score—only to hear mushy, distorted audio? ArcoPraxis lets you play virtually any violoncello score at any tempo with clean, musical sound and zero audio distortion. Practice at your speed, not the virtuoso’s.
Accelerate your string playing with tools designed for how musicians actually learn:
• Slow down to any tempo without destroying pitch or tone
• Remove the rhythm to isolate intonation—hit every note in tune before worrying about the beat
• Loop the measures that challenge you until they feel secure
• Add rhythm back to work on shifts, string crossings, and phrasing
• Built-in metronome and tuner so you stay in the practice flow—no app-switching
• Import photos, scans, PDFs, MusicXML, and .arco files from your teacher
Unlike gig or library apps, ArcoPraxis is dedicated to practice. Score recognition runs on your device, so your music stays private. No ads. Pay once, and free updates are included.
This is practice that teaches: slow it down, strip the rhythm, loop the hard part, then build speed when you’re ready. One passage. Focused reps. Faster improvement.
