Anyone can claim the prize by clearing the mess and proving the result with photographs. The money moves when the place is clean. HOW IT WORKS Spot it. See a mess in an eligible public place? Photograph it through PlacePrize and put it on the board. Prize it. Put a cash prize on a spot you care about. Your corner. Your park. Your kid's walk to school. Every dollar of the advertised prize goes to the person who completes it. Claim it. Browse the board and choose a prize. Claim it and it's yours for 24 hours while you do the work. Clear it. Photograph the mess when you arrive, clear it, bag the litter, and photograph the result. Prove it. The PlacePrize Referee checks the photographic evidence against the original spot and the job requirements. Anything uncertain can be escalated for human review. Get paid. When the work is verified, the prize pays. THE PRIZE PAYS FOR THE OUTCOME If the board says $40, the hunter gets $40. PlacePrize fees are paid by the funder, not deducted from the advertised prize. Funders aren't donating on faith. They're backing a result they can see: that place, before and after. A neglected corner can become a $20 prize. A trashed trailhead can become a $100 prize. A place somebody cares about becomes a place somebody can act on. All proof photographs are captured live through PlacePrize. Spots are screened for eligible, bounded cleanup work in public places. Hazardous work, roadways, private property, and objects that may be someone's belongings are not eligible. If you claim a prize and arrive to find the place already clean, report it. You earn nothing, owe nothing, and the claim closes without penalty. PlacePrize is for adults 18 and over. Money is how care travels between strangers. A prize is care made portable. Put a prize on a place. Leave it proud.
