Shanya is dead. The story has already left the news. Her posts are still there to scroll.
You are a detective with one lead and one phone. The whole case is in the feed: the memorials, the friend who saw her last, the company that keeps saying the right things, and the posts Shanya left about the water in her building getting worse every day.
THE BATTERY IS THE CLOCK
No timer, no game over. A battery. Every swipe, every like, every comment thread you open and every photo you save takes a little more of it, so looking at everything costs you as much as looking at nothing. Run it flat and the phone dies in your hands, and you will have to bring it back yourself.
READ THE FEED LIKE EVIDENCE
Look harder at the photographs. People post more than they mean to. Take something out of one picture and use it on another: a screwdriver here, a vent four posts back, a code written on a wall that opens a cabinet nobody meant you to see.
SOMEBODY IS WATCHING YOU WORK
An anonymous account starts messaging you. They knew Shanya. They know what Minara Co. was really doing. They send what they can, when they can, and they are not telling you everything yet.
THEN THERE IS THE WAREHOUSE
Naming a suspect is not proving it. The second case takes you off the feed and leaves you standing at a locked door in the rain, with a code to break and nobody to give it to you.
