I gave this three instead of two because I do like the widget feature, that I can save favorites, and at least there IS a free version. But the reason I’ll be uninstalling it is that it’s very clear that the paid version would be better (could change background for ones I’m saving, not be bombarded with ads, and presumably would have better access to some sort of algorithm which would give me better quotes, etc). I would pay a dollar or so a month for this, and then not think about it, but I can’t bring myself (and my partner wouldn’t appreciate it) to spend this all at once—15-20 for a year—when there are much more useful apps for this price! Moreover—maybe my biggest complaint—it seems that you can either choose no notifications per day or a ton! Becomes meaningless to hear/see the notifications pretty quickly when there are so many, and they are touch and go, the quotes, as to whether they’re worth looking at. I can’t imagine why I can’t choose, say, just two notification per day. It’s just not good enough to be worth dealing w/ or paying for, in the end. There’s an app called “chill” which is more of a mindfulness app, but gives you one actual quote by a famous teacher once per day, has beautiful and dynamic photography w/ this quote, and will also notify you, if you choose, several times per day with healthy practices and sayings. More sophisticated, and free! Just has little ads along the bottom (and you can pay for even these to go away). I’m sticking w/ it from here out.
Hi there! We're sorry you hear you feel this way. Unfortunately, developing an app and creating content takes a lot of work and people, which is why some features are for the Premium version. As for our reminders, you can schedule the frequency you'd like for each reminder you set up.
