Description
ISBN Scan is an ISBN (International Standard Book Number) reader application.
It could not only read the ISBN bar-code but also read the ISBN number itself by the OCR (Optical Character Recognition) powered functions.
There is no need to press the shutter when reading, this application reads live images reflected in the camera just by simply waving your device. It has ability to read the ISBN at high accuracy with super-fast speed.
You can also view the detailed information of the book from the ISBN as well as share them via SNS (Social Network Services) or e-mail.

Good app for a niche use case
This seems to be a unique app. Although it probably has a narrow audience, when you need to quickly aggregate information about a large number of books, this app will mostly get the job done for you. It is definitely quirky but once you learn your way around some of the quirks in scanning and fails to recognize some books even when the ISBN is scanned properly, it works most of the time; certainly enough to make it worthwhile to use this as opposed to trying to record all the information by hand.
I'm grateful for the existence of this app; thank you to the author for creating it.
Exactly what I needed but needs work
This is the only book organizer I could find that scans the ISBN number and OCRs it. I have many old books that have no barcode. But the organizer part needs work. Categories are really needed. You can create different bookshelves but that is not natural or automated enough. I'm glad I can export CSV files to share with other apps. Some apps can't even do that.
Fantastic app and it’s free
I tried a few other apps before this and they either wanted me to subscribe or had very little functionality. This app does exactly what I want it to do for free and it does it very well. It was designed very intuitively as well. Thank you to the person who made this. You have helped me out a lot!
