One of the better macros tracker app

I’ve downloaded so many apps to help me track my macros, but this is one of the better ones. For the most part, it’s pretty user-friendly, intuitive, but there’s some pitfalls. When adding in food, it can get glitchy at times. I’d add in all the sections, yet it would indicate an error sign. Sometimes certain foods that are searchable are way, way off. For example, 1 serving of egg yolk is ~700 calories...? Other times, you can scan a barcode but nothing appears, only to find it by searching yourself. It’s just minor things, but sometimes it can be enough to deter you away, since dieting is hard enough. However, it’s not all bad. For the most part, it’s a flexible app that can let you customize. Since I’ve downloaded this app, it’s helped me keep track of my meals and I lost more than 10lbs!

Mixed Feelings

This app is great and I have lost 16 pounds. There are some things that need to be fixed, bad!

When you enter your new weight each week, it does not lower your point value. So after being on here 2 months and my point level never changing, I went online with my new weight and calculated...I was 3 points less than it said I should be. This app did not adjust to my weight loss. In my opinion, this completely defeats the purpose of the app.

Second, I have turned off the reminders, but the still go off 3 times a day. SUPER annoying.

It does the basics and syncs to the health app on your iphone for more detailed tracking. I track sugar, carbs, protein and fats. This app wont track sugar but it will be reflected in the health app when you scan a food into imicros so you do get the info you need, just not directly on thi app.
It can be a bit frustrating to use. When inputting food/meals your food history won't have quantity/method of measurement relative to the nutritional information so you will find yourself searching for the same item again to find that data. Your food history will also not be alphabetized or organized in any useful way for quick reference.
You will also find yourself changing the meal period only to have it default to back "breakfast" because you didn't hit "done" prior to saving.
Most foods in packaging can be scanned. Fresh foods can sometimes require a bit of guess work to find a close match.
