Version doesn’t work with iOS 12!
The current version 4.1.2 doesn’t work properly with iOS 12. Inbound calls to the app only get answered while the app is open. Digium knowledge base say this behavior will occur if notifications are turned off. Well when doing a + b testing on 2 phones at our office the iOS 12 phone with notifications on only gets calls with the app open and after at least one outbound call has been made. While the iOS 11 phone works as expected accepting calls while running in the background. Would not recommend until updated.
Moved to Digium system - for an organization of 400+ users. One of the main features we liked was the soft phone, turns out the feature does not work properly. Phone calls come in to the soft phone sporadically (many times they don’t come in at all despite having excellent wifi or data connection). Same thing when placing calls, buggy, many times the call is disconnected as the other party answers your call. They need to fix this, or just don’t advertise on this feature (DIGIUM).
Phone call drops
I am using version 4.1.2 on my IPhone. If I am on a call through the software and I get another call on my IPhone it drops my current call. If I am on a call through the software and I leave the current screen, it drops my call. When I open up the app and try to dial an extension it connects but I cannot hear anything. I have to close the app and reopen for it to work each time. It’s very frustrating.
