Updated App
Old version of app was horrible, I used the website instead for years. The new version is much better and much more user friendly. It uses more like an app and not a website dumped into an app.
Spam notifications
The app has settings to control which notifications you receive. This is great! It even says: “we don’t spam you with needless messages” yet guess what they do? They spam you with notifications that are not related to what you have enabled. For example I only have “when I receive a new reward” enabled and get solicitations to order meals, holidays, and store openings. I’ve contacted “Thanx” (the developer of the app) and they are clueless and just tell me to disable the notifications all together in my iOS settings rather then fix the preferences in their own app. This is sad. They need to take accountability and fix it.
Edit: the copy/pasted developer response is not useful. As mentioned in my original review, I’ve already contacted Thanx support and they have not been helpful.
Update: it’s now been 5 months and support said that the development team has not, and will not fix it. If that’s the case, then the app shouldn’t say “we don’t spam you with needless notifications” when that is exactly what it’s doing.

Not the way to order
As they say in the app description, it’s about rewards. Not the best way to order. I know Mobys is not fast food and I appreciate that because it’s fresh food, but the app still gives you an excessive wait time. It also doesn’t seem to account for the size of your order in setting the time nor does it track the progress of your order after giving you a confirmation. You can’t look up the progress of the order on the app and they don’t contact you when it’s ready. Better to just call.
