Awesome game, but not my favorite.

This game is amazing, and it is a very fun game to play with friends, but there are some drawbacks. First of all, there should be a mode where you play against NPCs, because you can’t always play with someone. Next, you should be able to change the color of your character at will, not only when you get a new color. Also, there should be more game modes in general, because I sometimes get bored with only 3 games. Lastly, I believe that the two dollar expansion costs a little much for the content it unlocked. If there were more characters and game modes, I would have been more comfortable. I hope you make the changes suggested in my review, because that would make me and many others who own this game much happier.

If you’re looking specifically for a locally-hosted 2 player game, this game is it. It’s fun and will definitely help time past. However, I just personally feel the development of this app has been too minimalistic. It’s been years since I’ve first discovered DUAL, and yet, it is still lacking features. It doesn’t rotate the screen depending on your orientation, there are only 3 modes, and you can’t play against a computer. Now, I’m no programmer, and I want to full game in support of the developer, but it’s difficult to spend money on a game that you can’t play alone. Maybe consider the possibility of hosting more than 2 players. The addition of game modes (e.g. “King of the Hill”, “Juggernaut”, “Gun Game [but with ships/powers]”, “Boss Fight”) should be a primary focus, and with this COVID19 quarantine in place, I’ll be keeping my hopes up (and my money on standby).

Thank you so much for making a fun 2 player game as unique and easy to use as this one. There isn’t another like it on the App Store. I feel like the IAP is pretty worth it, gaining 5 ships and 2 game modes for $2. Suggestions: 1. I would really appreciate a solo game mode. A lot of the times I really want to play this game, but I don’t have anyone to play it with. I feel like solo would make it become a lot more popular and more enjoyable. 2. I like the idea of getting new colors from playing with new people, but I think that colors should be able to be chosen without having to earn them (or maybe give 5 or 6 options to start with and then specialty colors can be unlocked). Overall it is an amazing game, very unique. Great job!

I have had a lot of fun playing this game so far! At first I searched for local multiplayer games to play with my friends and found this. Only after a few games did I buy the full version and had even more fun! I was ecstatic when I saw the update with new ships and started back up again!Although this game is amazing, I have a few minor complaints. They are to add the option for a joystick because it can get hard to see at times when my friends and I rotate the phone too much, and adding one or two more fighters in the free version.This is still a great game nonetheless and I highly recommend getting the full version!
