Unlock your DNA data’s potential. Cross-reference 23andMe or Ancestry files with +180k markers. 100% local privacy. No subscriptions. Try our Demo mode!
Make sense of your DNA test data and discover what your genes can tell you. Genomapp is a specialized genetic reference tool that cross-references your information with public databases of scientific studies to present findings in a visual, intuitive way.
Have you taken a DNA test? Did you know your genome has a lot to say? Want to learn more about your DNA? It is easier than you think.
*** Compatible with Ancestry.com & 23andMe
If you already have a raw DNA data file from services like 23andMe, AncestryDNA, FTDNA, or MyHeritage, you can safely use it. Genomapp provides a personalized genetic exploration of your Ancestry.com or 23andMe results. Our tool quickly identifies thousands of genetic markers (SNPs) and shows health associations found in scientific evidence.
*** Privacy & Security (100% On-Device)
Protecting your privacy is our primary concern.
• Your data remains on your device.
• Genetic files are not stored on or uploaded to our servers.
• We do NOT share genetic data with third parties.
*** Ready to start?
Genomapp has a Demo mode. If you want to try the app or learn how it works, you can access a fully functional version for free.
*** What does Genomapp offer?
We offer 3 free reports and 3 premium reports:
• Complex Diseases: Literature on markers associated with multifactorial conditions (genetic and environmental factors).
• Inherited Conditions: Scientific records on markers related to diseases that are caused by mutations in a single gene.
• Pharmacological Compounds: Drug-marker associations found in peer-reviewed scientific studies.
• Genetic Traits: Characteristics or attributes expressed by your genes.
• Observable Signs: Understand markers related to physical signs.
• Blood Groups: Literature-relevant markers for transfusions or pregnancy.
*** Specialized genetic insights
• Methylation & MTHFR: Focused on metabolic health research, folate, and the MTHFR gene.
• Aging & Longevity: Explore the genetic markers mentioned in studies about aging mechanisms.
*** Certification
The app has been reviewed by the mHealth.cat Office (TIC Salut Social Foundation). This means that the quality of the content and the usefulness of the functions have been evaluated, meeting reliability requirements for health-related educational content.
*** Not diagnostic
Please note that Genomapp is a medical reference and educational tool. It is NOT for diagnostic use and does not provide medical advice or clinical decision support. Always consult your healthcare professional for any medical concerns.
*** Our database
Search our database of more than 9,500 conditions, 12,400 genes, and 180,000 genetic markers. Our tool facilitates access to research on a comprehensive list of conditions from scientific sources, including breast cancer, Alzheimer's, and Parkinson's. It also indexes literature for tumor suppressor genes such as BRCA, PTEN, and P53.
*** Easy to Understand
Genomapp displays your DNA markers in a friendly way. Export your personalized genetic reports to PDF for your personal research and records to take them anywhere.
*** Supported DNA Providers
We are constantly adding support for new providers. Currently, you can use files from 23andMe, Ancestry.com, FTDNA, MyHeritage, Genes for Good, LivingDNA, Geno 2.0, and other DTC genetic testing companies. Genomapp also supports VCF format files and specific schemes. (Note: VCF files from WES/WGS are currently not compatible).

I wasn't sure this app would be worth it for me, but it was. If you want something that will use plain language (and graphs) to explain the implications of your SNPs and alleles, try the app. Another reviewer suggested Promethease. For me, it's not an either/or. I got my Promethease report and thought I understood what I was looking at. Looking at the same data through this app was an aha moment. Money well spent.
Per Genomapp Not a DX Tool🤣
Janna0913
While the company clearly states the reports are not for medical diagnosis, it should be somewhat accurate, or follow through on that they are advertising. I’m not sure what testing methods they use to extract/decipher the raw dna, but I found it to be highly inAccurate! I had already had my dna tested professionally tested and had an idea of what he results should be and this test did not represent any correlating results from a professional test! The only thing I found they got correct was my blood group!🤣 Edit* while Genomapp was prompt in its generic rebuttals (as so noted on many users who dared give a less than stellar review) along w/ it’s snarky final comment(way to keep it professional Genomapp🤣). I still will keep to my original comment that things did not align w/ a professional gene testing & people should understsnd Genomapp not a medical dx tool(which they state themselves...apparently I’m not allowed to say that though🙄). Maybe if I paid money into the ones they charged for, I’d see more matches but not going to be doing that after the free intro was lacked correlation. Finally, I understand blood type is not projected, I mistyped but meant the 1 “blood group” that was listed, which you do determine “blood groups” as it’s part of the free section...am I wrong?

Dear Janna0913, Genomapp is an information retrieval tool that crosses your DNA raw data file with our database of published markers related to conditions. More than three years of experience guarantee our services. By the way, Genomapp does not determine Blood Groups.
Need more public language friendly and
cabsasha
Provided good information, but the language design only for scientists or people with knowledge of this specific terminology! Also references on sites with same terminology. I think it will be better if explained in more simple language and refer to more scientific sites! Highlights need more clearly, smiley face is clear sad face not enough so is third one, need more clear explanations for sad and crazy face, also it will be nice if we can print list for necessary tests what we could show to doctors (with language what doctors and lab workers understand), and/ or refer to other organizations what can do this tests!!!Good, but need improvements!
Developer Response
Thank you for your comment. We really appreciate your suggestions and we will take them into consideration. Kind Regards.

Why am I contributing all of my opinions and health for me to not get this information back. I can not subscribe to all services all the time. I just want some information from you if you want information from me.
Developer Response
First of all, please note that Genomapp does not access your DNA information, Genomapp is just a tool that allows you to compare your raw DNA data with scientific literature. Nor do we ask to contribute information. Besides that, Genomapp is not a subscription service.
