Simple mindful reminder
Similar to reminders that popular meditation apps can send out at a certain time, this app will periodically send out mini reminders throughout the day to come back into the present moment.
Great interval timer with some down sides
It’s simple and works. Some of the negative reviews don’t realize the constraints put on developer by iOS/Watch OS. To achieve this app, the developer has a couple workarounds.
The big workaround is that it activates the heart rate sensor as if you’re exercising and even logs it as an activity. Because of this, I probably will only use it for exercise.
There’s no other way on WatchOS to make this app work.
Developer Response ,
Hi, PineBreeze! You are reporting that app isn't running in the background on iOS. But it actually able to. To activate background alerts go to Settings and enable notifications. See this pic for more details: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=1495488890502165&l=20ae890ddc
Good basic idea but drains battery
I was using this to stand up every 30 minutes while at work. Just realized this actually starts workout mode (with heart rate monitor)... why?? This drains my battery super fast plus misguides my actual fitness data... if you want to keep that feature add a toggle for people not using this for workouts
Developer Response ,
Hi! Workout mode is required to run the timer while screen is off. Unfortunately, there are no other ways. To reduce battery usage you can go to Settings > General > Workout and activate Power Saving Mode on your watch.
