I’ve been using Wag for a few months now and am very happy with the service. I’ve been fortunate enough to get the same walker each time who is fantastic! He always refreshes their water bowls or puts their food out if I ask. I have a very hyper 1.5 yr old boxer and 6 month old mutt. My walker went above and beyond on one walk by not only walking them for an extra 15 minutes because he felt bad for being a little late but also taking them on a RUN! A tired puppy is a happy puppy! :) I’ve only had one bad experience where a walker said she was going to show up several hours earlier than I had scheduled because she was already in the area (which I wasn’t okay with) and then said she wasn’t going to make it because of car trouble and then said she had to cancel because she didn’t realize how far I lived from where she was (but I thought you were already in the area??). Wag support saw all of her notes in the app and quickly contacted me, apologized and got a new walker scheduled within an hour of my original time request. I had the walker flagged so they never suggest her again for my dogs to avoid future issues. Reviews saying you don’t get contacted about walker arrivals are incorrect. I get a text message and app notification every time when my walker is on their way or a little late or if Wag needs to schedule someone different. I’ve had zero issues with customer support. Our normal walker also texts me directly.

I’ve had success w Wag! in the past but today scheduling was nearly impossible. I started at 2 and couldn’t complete my booking until after 4:30. The problems arose from the app freezing several times which required me to re-enter all of my personal details. Once able to proceed I entered 3 coupons provided by work and when I selected the first it came up unusable as if it had been used prior (which I hadn’t). Once this step was completed a hold was placed on my CC- (actually twice) perhaps for tips as these, I believe don’t go thru the coupon- so I hope I do not get charged for the walk itself. I had one walker reply that she could take the following 6 days’ walks but not the one for today (not sure why she’d accept in the first place ). Then the schedule section in the app secured a 2nd woman but the texts I receive secured a 3rd woman’s name (the 3rd never communicated with me) and within a few minutes the text chain connected a gentleman (4th walker) who I told I already had a lady secured. The next 6 walks had also been secured by yet a 5th walker. So now, I need to try to cancel the walk with walker #4 without cancelling walker #5 (since there’s no record of #4 in my system) so it doesn’t impact his standing/ratings with Wag! What a mess, & I just need my dog waked for 1 hour. Also so very frustrating that there is no way to phone and speak directly to customer service.

I use this app every day. This is the best app if you have a dog and she needs extra attention or if you’re a busy pet parent and don’t have the schedule to accommodate an active dog. We have two dogs and have recurring walks setup three times a week. Dog loves it and I don’t mind paying for it. My favorite is the noises when dog poops, sounds stupid but it’s a relief (Ha!). I don’t think I’ve ever left less than a 4-star review for a walk, only in part because one walker took more time taking photos then they did walking. My dogs want to cover distance not be part of some photo shoot!!! The lockbox is sweet, I saved $10 and they had it shipped to the house already set, nothing to do other than make a copy of the key. When I’m gone on a long weekend or away I’ll take the key out just in-case. I don’t want to worry and know I don’t have to if I remove it. I appreciate the discounts if I buy in bulk and load up on them when I can - they can come in the form of an email or in the app itself. The team always emails or texts back quickly when I have a question, like how do I request a walk for only one doggie if the other one is tired or sick? The walkers don’t bother me, which is nice, they show up, take care of the dogs, complete the report, and they are on their way. Sometimes they’ll walk with bandanas, which is a nice touch, but if it gets hot I prefer without it. I’ve had a walker show up a few minutes late (checked on the notes!) and they made sure to stay for the full hour. Anyway, big fan, keep doing what you’re doing, it works, I like it, my dogs likes it, and it’s easy.

My fur-babies and I love the Wag app! I usually request an immediate walker and I receive a text immediately that they've requested a walker in my area and I will be alerted within 10 minutes of time of arrival. A few minutes later, I am texted that a walker will arrive by “time” (and its usually within 15-30 minutes). Walkers have been very courteous and timely. My dogs get excited and go for their walk, all the while I can watch their walk by map in the Wag app. It notifies me when and where they tinkle, doo, and the walker usually sends me at least 1 video to watch with paw-some background music! Laughed so hard the first time I watched it. You can set up a regular schedule with your favorite walker also! I can see profiles of all the walkers before they walk my dogs, or I can choose them. However, if not available or they don't respond quick enough, the Wag app will alert other walkers to accept the walk. Some walkers have mentioned that they try to grab a walk, but even though they answered right away, someone else beat them to many walks.. So apparently the walkers need more walks. If you have a favorite walker, best to text them first before you request them, just to confirm availability and alert them you are requesting a walk. I’ve been using Wag for over 6 months and love it! Thank you Wag and paw-some walkers!
