Heart Rate Accuracy

I had an infection and I was to monitor my heart rate. I had two monitors (one on a blood pressure machine and one that goes on the finger), and this app. The blood pressure was exactly the same or within one degree difference of the other two monitors. I was at 116 resting and now that I’ve healed, it’s at 72 resting. I see other people said it wasn’t accurate, but I was taking mine daily with all three monitors (because the doctors always question the reliability of your tools so I decided to have three for sake of being sure) for like a week it never gave me a wacky reading, and I maxed out all the daily allotted freebies. Perhaps older phones aren’t as sensitive? I am not sure.

Wild false advertising, and unscientific

So, I saw an ad on a social media app (the one that has the name relating to a clock), and saw an ad for an app that can measure my blood oxygen level, and my heart rate. I knew that this made no sense, but I wanted to check out how bogus it was. Of course, it immediately needed payment info, hoping I would forget about in when the free trial ran out. And just because I wanted to see how accurate it was, I measured my BPM (it said 26, I’m at 90), then I tried a bag of chips, and it read 123, and said I had “low energy levels”, after these tests it wanted access to my health app (never allow applications like this have access to you info, their selling it). I can also see that the creators are obviously botting their reviews, and deleting real ones. Also, their little ad campaign of “this app is saving thousands of lives a year” is so scummy. Whoever made this app is honestly an awful person. Sure, we all need to get some cash, even if it may be in a morally questionable way, but this is just overkill. Boring reviews, pushing lies in your ads, and taking advantage of people who aren’t tech savvy, and immediately asking for payment info (which I haven’t actually found a way to cancel payment)

I added it to see what it can really do, I must say.. I’m very disappointed in this app. I know after making, building and getting this together there has to be a bill… well if the only thing it can show me now before paying anything.. is putting my finger on the light and it measures my bp then this app is a scam. Plus iPhones now have a built in app that keeps up with everything for free. I did one of the free test and I laughed because of what my results was.. no it wasn’t funny but the app is funny.. it said I will have a heart attack or stroke in the next 5 years or less…. Ummmm I’ve had a heart attack the most deadly of them all the widowmaker and I do not remember having one and I have seizures as well so when it happened if I was around anyone they might have thought I was having a seizure.. almost no one lives from having a widowmaker.. oh and only 20% of my heart works the rest is dead. I know I wasn’t looking for a miracle app to tell me what all of my medical devices will tell me what is going on and if I need medical help. This is nothing more then a fun way to pass your time and line the pockets of scammers. DO NOT BUY THIS!!!!

Scratch That New Era
I was billed on Monday, September 16 for this account and I forgot to cancel. So right then I canceled it and received a confirmation the account would close on September 18, 2024. I was billed on again on Thursday, September 19. I emailed the site advising the account had been closed and I sent a screenshot showing the confirmation I received on Monday, September 16, 2024 advising it would close on September 18, and second screenshot showing a transaction was pending. I had asked that I be refunded when the transaction posted. In stead of an apology I got a copy of the rules and I will post them. These people didn’t acknowledge my two previous emails at all. I hope the response was from some AI and not a person because if it is he/she is an idiot. I couldn’t copy the email or the confirmation of cancellation here. Do not waste your time with this site. I only used it once and forgot about it so I can’t confirm anything else about the site.
